I'm choked up

After 14 months in Iraq, a soldier returns home and is greeted at the door.

Verry nice. Crying or Very sad
words escape me.
Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad
Tears streaming down my cheeks....what a precious homecoming.
My husband is so bitter.

He says
1. he's not even in the military. he's air force.
2. air farts ONLY serve 2-6 months which is no where near as long as the army's 14 months
3. that dog is no yuki

Laughing

Well, coming from a prior air force girl, I liked it Twisted Evil
nothing compares to unabridged, unconditional love.
My family was air force. I won't begin to talk about the missions my uncle flew in hostile territory.........every one who serves should be remembered and these dogs certainly did not forget!! Hopefully all our military will return and have someone in their life's greet them with such enthusiasm!!!
very nice - but i particularly liked the point where he took the dog hair out of his mouth Laughing Laughing

again, if you were active duty, you would understand where he was coming from. it's just a joke (based on a lot of truth) Wink fwiw, his sister is an air force pilot. and again, his wife was also in the af. we donut eating air force make fun of the ugly(iest) girls that army has, and dumb as a rock marines too.
Very sweet.

Although in my house, I'm sure Barney would give that reaction to the mailman for a belly rub! Laughing

I found the direct link: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=147_1223108811
My sheepies are still this way with my son who returned from Afghanistan after a 15 month deployment--2 months after his return. Even the two who were acquired while he was away from home. They have given up greeting me when I get home if Ben is in the house: they do not leave his side. And Sherman and Archie vie for a spot on his bed at night--he reports sometimes both are up there with him, and his first night back, all 3. BTW, it's still his twin bed from his childhood. I think they know he needs them.

Dogs are wonderful.
Here's a good link to send to people (Brings them to oes.org to see the video)
