Loose Stool Due to Anesthesia?

Can Foz's loose stools be attributed to his body eliminating the anesthesia and antibiotics he had been taking? Fozzie was neutered about 2 weeks ago and everything seems to be healing. About a week ago he started to have very loose stools and this has continued. We have doggie antidiarrhea medicine in the house which the vet had given us when Foz was throwing up a few weeks ago wo we've started that.

I haven't called the vet yet as Steve said the poop was more formed today.

Kelsey always got loose stools after anesthesia but that was always within 24 to 48 hours after.

It might be the anti-biotics causing it that he had as it kills off all the good and bad bacteria in the gut. So if he has not got a temperature and he is normal in himself, try him on yoghurt to replace the good bacteria for the probiotics in it. It should firm him up.
Thanks! I'll try the yogurt or should I do white rice for a little while?
We use the yogurt at our house. The active cultures in it replace the normal ones that are in the digestive system. I try to use a TBSP daily, but right now we are out. The dogs look at their food, then have this funny look - like "mom, aren't you forgetting something?"
Do both, just keep him on a fairly bland diet Boiled rice and cooked chicken flesh for a few feeds till you get more formation in the stool.

In a bowl put 1tbls of yoghurt and let him lick that up

If stools are firming up then add his dry Half/half with the rice and chicken then gradually increase over a few feeds till back on his normal diet. I give mine yoghurt every day and they love it, keeps a nice balance of the flora in there systems, always up the yoghurt if they have been on anti-biotics for that reason to replace what the anti-biotics has killed off. :D
