Bows In Hair ?

As a first time mom of a female sheepie instead of the plain rubber bands we put in the boys hair I want London to have one with a pink bow. The groomer put one in her hair yesterday in the center but by last night it was down on top of her eye. I went ahead and removed it but I want to put it back and can't seem to get the bow to stay on top. She looked so adorable yesterday with it in.

For you mom's of female sheepies - could you tell me how to get it right?

I have no idea how they put them in so well!
I think you just have to wait until her hair is longer to hold it in, that way you can just tie it around the rubber band. You could do little pigtail ones until her topknot grows in. Just take a little hair at the top of each ear, rubber band it off and tie little bows around it. Sometimes the groomer does that for Lucy and it's pretty cute!
Awww pink bows, love them and have tons LOL

She needs a bit more length there to hold the bow in. You could girly dress up her hairdo with a pink slide clip or butterfly clip for the moment till she sprouts a bit more head coat.

Another thing you can get is the bows they use with toy breeds.. You can get them at a pet shop, little bows already tied onto little rubber bands. Small enough for her and will probably stay in as the bands are tiny.

Or as butterstotch mentioned put a bow above each ear that looks so pretty too till they have head coat length.
I used to use kiddie barrets for Snooks. They seem to stay in place better and I could get them cheaply at the drug store. I could change them easily without the rubber bands getting stuck in her hair. I could get them for various seasons and holidays. My favorite is a pair of sunglasses I used in the Summer. Just a different way to accessorize.

Using a small elastic under the bow will help. The bows are really more decoration than useful.
My groomer got these ones in and they stayed in for a couple days

Below are just clips when her hair was shorter

But nothing I put in ever stays long! :)
She is adorable :D Her hair accessories are so pretty. :D
My whole reason for wanting female dogs, to play dress up with them.

I use a kid's ouchless elastics, and then a bow on top of that. Remy will sometimes leave it alone, but most often scratches until it falls out

I have clips too that works for a bit. Pig tails last longer then the top knot.

I prefer now using bandana's to dress her up, at least around her neck she doesn't mind something being there.

cute pictures spacegirl.
You can also use a LITTLE dab of toothpaste like they do for the bald ( or near bald ) baby girl pic's. Just a small dab will hold bow in place and shampoos or wipes out easily.....Kathy
I think you just have to wait until her hair is longer, so do I 8)

Wath a qutie on the pics. :)
