Not long to go now!!
Been busy packing all his clothes etc. and thinking too much about it all, Awwww gone for 4 months and won't be home for christmas  , then he is back for 2 weeks home then 8 weeks on a training ship.
So over the next 1 1/2 years he is home for a few weeks then off for a couple of months on ships until he is qualified. 
No pleasing us moms is there? As youngsters when they do something you roll your eyes and think, when will they grow up, then when they do, you think I WISH THEY WERE STILL LITTLE  
So here is to hoping all will go well and that my little man survives without his mom fussing over him, I am sure he will, but I know I am going to miss him terribly. At least we can jump on a plane and have a nice weekend visiting over the next 4 months and I know my Mobile phone bill will be enormous!!  |

| Awww.... I bet you will miss him like crazy..... I wish they could stay little too sometimes. My daughter has gone away with friends for ten days, this is only the second day and I started missing her the moment she left. She's almost 16 so I suppose this is practice.... LOL |

I can't imagine what it's going to be like when my youngest leaves the nest. Perhaps it will be very noticable the first couple weeks and then who knows? You may be putting on a party hat and kicking up your heels shouting wheeee..freedom!! Then again, you may be missing him so much , you will be racking up those long distance calls. Knowing you from here, I'm sure you did a fine job and he's well prepared to try out his wings. It's always hard for the mama bird to let them go. Sending along my hugs to you Marianne and the boys |
