New search tool available for oes.org, sort of
I say "sort of" because Google has been available on the site for a while, but it popped open a new window and wasn't integrated as a part of oes.org. Now it is! If you are logged into the forum, (and most of the time even if you're not logged in) you should see a Google search box near the top of all the pages of the forum except for the main page. You can use that box to search the web just like a normal Google search, or to use Google to only search oes.org (which is the default). You can use the little radio buttons underneath to select "WWW.OES.ORG" or the "Web". When you get your results page, you're still inside oes.org! So you never have to leave oes.org to search oes.org. No more windows popping up. You can get back to where you were by using the back button on your browser, or you can click on "[Back to the forum]" which is at the top of the column of links on the left. The Google search brings you to the low-fidelity "extract/archive" pages of the forum. If you click on one of the pages, at the top of the archive you should see a link to the full forum version. Give the new search a try! Search for something exciting! Search for something Sheepie! Search for Rolex Watches for your loved one! When searching for oes.org entries, keep in mind it takes Google about a week to include any posts made in here, so if you need to find something posted very recently, your best bet is to use the forum's search facility. Since it's not a very good search, try limiting it to the last month to find what you're looking for. Give it a try! Maybe search the web for webmaster gifts!  lololol |

| Pretty neat!
I decided to check out the "webmaster gifts" but screwed up and typed in "gifts for Ron". The first result shown was: Gift ideas for a 5 (five) year old boy. Realizing the mistake I made I typed in "webmaster gifts". First result shown there was: Christmas gifts for dogs. Ron, did I misunderstand? Was the gift suppose to be for "you", or a 5 year old dog lurking behind the scenes somewhere???
