How long does it take to cook chicken in a crockpot?

I have a sauce and 1lb of boneless chicken breasts.

Thought I would try to put both in a crockpot?

I don't have anything to line it with (heard there are liners now), so should I spray it with PAM or do nothing?

Do I set it on low, med, high?

And how long before the chicken is done? I know it can cook all day, but I was hoping someone could tell me the min?

thanks~

Is the meat cubed? What size? Acutally it doesn't matter because I don't have the faintest idea how long it's going to take, Generally I find 3 hours, maybe more in a big crock pot. In the smaller ones......maybe an hour or two. Depends on meat size.

Also depends on if you are cooking on low or high.

Go ahead a spray the liner with Pam, it won't hurt and might help. Generally there is not much browning on the liner.....unless you burn things

The more often you uncover, the slower the cooking. So try to get it all stirred at first and then stay away for awhile.

The long slow 8-10 hour cooking is at low and lots of meat.

thanks, that helps a lot! I'll see how it goes. :)
I usually put in on low and leave it for 7-8 hours. I check the chicken to make sure it's all white though before I get it out.
