Dog sitting today

My sister and her dog Bailey spent the night out here last night.
She has a seminar to attend in Palm Springs today.

So I am dog sitting today. I just caught him about to lift his leg on one of Hayley's toys. I yelled, he stopped and then ran outside.
He is all upset wondering his Mommy left him here.
Rags really liked playing with him. So does Pepsi.

Last night we were in the pool and Billy grabbed Rags so they could jump in together and Bailey went and jumped right into the pool after them.
He was barking and trying to eat the water that he was splashing by swimming. lol After the first time he kept jumping in.
Billy was depressed that we haven't been able to teach our dogs to jump in. Though maybe after seeing Bailey do it ours might decide to do it?

Last night I groomed Bailey and boy was he fidgety.
But he turned out really good despite his fidgetiness. He looks like an Ewok. lol He has a severe overbite on the bottom.
I'll take a picture of him later. My sister insisted I leave his head long.
So I just shaped it and cut his ears short. She was very happy with it.
Shaving him down was a pain. He had lots of matts and boy does he scream loud 8O My sister said that the dog freaks out when being brushed, just like Peanut did. He really didn't freak out much when I brushed him. I am going to tell her that she has got to keep him short if she's not going to brush him. He is a terrier/poodle and his curly coat was about two inches long and had a few very heavily matted areas.
Shame on my sister!!

Awe, he's cute.
He looks great!! It was so nice of you to gussy him up!!
He looks very nice now. Maybe this will give your sister incentive to keep him neat. He looks fun - I bet your dogs had a blast playing with him!
Hi Ellisa,

Wow is he ever a cute little fellow! I loved that smiling face.

Sigh would be nice if the furballs learned only the good stuff from each other wouldn't it?

Marianne and the boys
E, he looks great!! you did a nice job on him!!
Thanks everyone!
I personally hate the round headed cut he had. I just trimmed it because my sister likes it. He looks like a Bichon with that head and he is not Bichon.
Bailey was rescued by my sister in March. He is a year and a half now.
The people she got the dog from said they were dog sitting the dog for someone that never returned. He really hated men when my sister got him, but he's gotten much better.
There is one simple thing that my sister can do. Get a muzzle!
I used Peanut's muzzle on him last time he was here to trim him and brush him out and he was fine. He doesn't try to bite too much but screams bloody murder. 8O He did try to bite me while I was brushing out his ears so I just decided to cut them short. My sister says, with his ears short he looks like a terrier. Well that's because he is 1/2 terrier
You did a nice job on him!!
I love his haircut!
He's cute. And if you sister doesn't like his ears, she can trim them. Hope he has your two diving in before he leaves.

Hey -- maybe this is the solution to the 3rd dog dilemma -- you could let people pay you to dogsit their dogs!! You choose who, how often, for how long, and how much they pay you so you can satisfy this extra dog longing. . . .
