'70s TV Show, Family
Anyhoo.....I loved that show! It started a couple years after my mom died, and Sada Thompson really reminded me of her. I just found out they will be releasing it on DVD. I'm so excited. I hope I still like it! |

| The cast looks really familiar, of course Baxter-Birney went on to "Family Ties" afterwards (must have been the next season!), and Gary Frank and Kristy McNichol were in just about every TV show for a while, and Kristy McNichol went on to Empty Nest, with Richard Mulligan.
Quite a cast. But no, I don't remember watching this show. Perhaps I did, but I don't think so. |

| A friend of mine has loaned me Season One and Two and I am getting re-acquainted with it. Probably my favourite "family" show of all time, a program a little ahead of its time given some of the issues it dealt with. It's just too bad that Kristy McNicol has had her health issues , Gary Frank has disappeared from sight and James Broderick died far too young. [/b] |
| I've watched my set of dvds of it. I love that show. It never fails to bring a tear (of sadness or joy) to my eyes. It was a great show. And yes, James passed way too soon. |
