Today was the first Friday I'm off due to a 4 day work week due to slow business (darned gas prices, make for bad car sales, make for miserable car dealership owners).
Anyway...I LIKE it!!!! HA HA!
Pirate had a spa day today, which gave Keira and I a special day for girl things.
Boy! Is she a different dog without her big brother around! She's much more mellow. She is always loving, but she doesn't seem to need to prove herself without Pirate here to compete with.
She hung out with me while I did lots of cooking and laundry. We had a couple games of tennis ball catch (short ones, cuz it so hot here). And, we actually took a short nap together.
She's been so gentle, and quiet and SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, she's always sweet but she didn't have the cool Captain to compete with, so she let her guard down and was just a cutie pie all day.
I'm so glad she and I had this special time together. And I think she is too. |

I think when she goes to bed tonight, she'll be having sweet dreams after such a special day! Although you'd have to wonder if you start seeing her viciously bark and kick when she takes a nap. j/k  Glad you had time to share today!  |
