Anyone have a keyless door entry?

We're putting in a new door today - hubby is out getting it now. We were looking at new door handles/deadbolts, and Jason come across the keyless entry. It really would be perfect for us, because my utility room is separate from the main house, and the kids are ALWAYS locking me out when I do laundry. I had a spare key in there, but it disappeared. I found that out the hard way, lol, and everytime I go to the store, I forget to have another key made.

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone has one and if they like it or regret getting it. Jason is buying it now with the door, but I figure if it's not that great, we could always take it right back. He didn't give me time to check reviews on it before he left...which I guess is okay because I can't find any anyway. Keyless entry for cars keeps popping up.

I have one and I love it. Never really have to take keys with me when I go out.

Thanks, glad to hear a good review on it. :) How often do the batteries need changed? Jason said this one ran on either AA or AAA batteries...
I've been in my house for three years and never changed it. My Dad installed it, I don't even know if it needs batteries.
HI :D
We have a keypad on our garage door!
It is a wonderful idea
Never have to worry about taking keys with you on a doggie walk!
Batteries last for a long time...for us at least 2 years.
Diane
We also have a keypad for the Garage Door.
Works wonders when hubby steps outside to do something and forgets that the door locks behind him
We are very happy with it.

You might want to check on that before you get locked out...

LOL, Gave the neighbour a key......
It was a pain to put in, lol, but that was more because the holes for the handles on the door didn't line up with the ones that were on our house, so we had to drill new holes and match them up right and everything. Once we got it in though, it is the coolest thing! I didn't realize a pretty loud alarm went off if someone entered the wrong code 3 times and went into lockdown mode - which you had to have the key to override. That is pretty neat.
Wow that sounds cool.
