I'm On Vacation for a Week!!!

Yaaahhhh! And have a wonderful week planned!

First of all, and most important...Dixie is back, has been back for a week, and I suspect she may not be going anywhere....No more details at this time, so don't ask!

Second of all, our house is for sale and we had a showing tonite...the first one in weeks...So we had to clean the hosue top to bottom, and now it is all done!

Third, one of my sisters is coming to visit for a few days. She has 2 teens, too, so we can laugh and cry at the "joys" of being parents to teens! She is kind of a "b..tch" to my husband, and that is a good thing. I always enjoy watching him getting beat up LOL It is all in fun, but honestly, they act like they are married and fight all the time...and they enjoy it and I enjoy watching it.

We are having a BBQ on Sunday for about 30 people. I don't cook, so hubby is doing the food, and everyone is bringing something. Ymmm...Yummmm! We live in the coutnry, so it is all outside with a huge bonfire planned!

Then we are doing all the tourist stuff, like water parks, etc for 2 days. My 13 year old neice wants to come horseback riding with me! I can't think of a better way to spend a couple of hours with a niece than at the stables. Yeee Haa!!

They leave Wednesday, so hubby and I get a couple days of R n R and then Saturday morning we are off the the Michigan Sheepie picnic with Bosley and Dixie! We found a pet friendly motel 2.5 miles away. Bosley is just over a year old, and hasn't travelled much, and Dixie, besides her 3 hour flight to me in February, also hasn't travelled much. So this will be an experience.

So it will be very hard to get my dwon off of my cloud nine! I'm on vacation!!!!! YAAAAAHHHHHH
:excited: :excited: :excited:

I hope you have a great vacation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Welcome home Dixie, you can tell the story when/if you are ready.
Sounds like you are going to have a wonderful week off. I hope you have wonderful weather. Keeping my fingers crossed that your house sells. Enjoy the Sheepie picnic.

P.S., glad to hear Dixie's home
BUSY!!!!! It sounds like you'll have a great week - don't forget to eat!
Wow...it sounds like a fun filled week!!

Ha! and people call me organized..lol....have fun and be careful and most importantly...enjoy it!!
Busy vacation! Have a wonderful time at the picnic!!! So cool you're making a weekend of it!
It is getting better and better. :go:

I had also invited to the BBQ tomorrow the fellow who owns the horses where I ride. He called me today to see if I would like him to come over with a team of horses and a 30 foot trailer and take us all for a ride around the block! :high5: In the country the blocks are a mile long LOL. My company are city folk from Montreal, so they will really enjoy that. Plus I will see how Bosley reacts to having horses in his backyard. :go:

And, "good or bad"...our 56 inch big screen TV died....so that is bad... :( So hubby just came back from shopping and we have a brand new 65 inch Toshiba in my family room, now!

Tomorrow the crew descends on us, so we will have 25 to 30 people over, with 3 dogs....Bosley, Dixie and my friend's rescued greyhound, Jedi, and 2 horses...I think Bill and Bob. I LOVE parties!

Yaaahhh!!!!! :excited: :excited: :excited:

Lucky! We're waiting for ours to die and it won't! We can't justify tossing away out working 56" either. What's your secret?
Here it is!!!!!!!

Image

Our family room is 30 feet long, and this picture is taken width-wise. There is lots of room for the TV. This one is 65 inches, Our last one was 56 inches and it just died.

Now we have to have someone come over and show us how to use it!

Do you offer stadium seating? Is it pre-assigned or is it festival seating?

Plus, I'm thinking the 100-incher would just fill that wall nicely. Maybe you could just have it built in as a TV Wall?
Wow, I'm excited just hearing about all of the fun stuff you have planned! And Dixie and Bosley to share it with.

In our house you can't have too many or too large of TV's. My husband thinks you need a minimum of 3 remote controls to work anything even with a universal remote 8O .

That sounds like so much fun with the horses and Sheepie picnic and BBQ and family. And a clean house. Doesn't get better than that. Why can't vacations be all of the time?

Good luck selling your house. Where are you moving? Why are you moving?

Have FUN!
Sounds fun!!

Looking forward to a Dixie update. . .
