My baby is growing up!!! : (
Last night at 9:12 pm I put her to bed. I was expecting her to get up numerous times during the night... like Ryan did when he got a bed. She slept the entire night. Billy was worried because I forgot to plug the monitor back in in Hayley's room. So at 9am we went into her room to check on her. There she was sound asleep. 
She woke up almost as soon as we opened the door. She looked up at us and climbed out of bed and gave me a hug, then a kiss for Daddy. Here is her new bed.  |

| Billy & I were both very teary about this milestone.
Ryan was in a crib until he was 3 1/2. Then again I believe his crib mattress sat much lower. He never was able to lean out and over the side the way Hayley was doing it. So much for the cheapo crib my SIL got her. 
Ryan had borrowed my cousin's crib when he was little. That one was so nice. She really seems to like her new bed. Especially since it's so low to the ground. When I was putting away her clean laundry this morning she was in and out of the bed over and over. Rags made herself a nice spot on the rug. She would have preferred the bed. It is the perfect size for the dogs
I told Billy when we switch Hayley to a twin bed that maybe we should keep the toddler bed for the dogs.

Chipper has taken over the boys' old toddler bed= it is a perfect size... we had it downstairs- the boys would flop on it to play Playstation, but have brought it back up to my bedroom so Chip has his own bed. Now- he needs to learn how to use it ALL night= maybe Hayley could send over some pointers to Chipper (HEE HEE). |
