Allergy Shots- Heska
We have 2 sheepies that we give allergy shots. Pan started her's last week. I noticed a BIG difference in the amount we are supposed to give. It will be more than 3x what we give Darby when we get to the maintainance dose. We brought it to the attention of our vets and they called and spoke with Heska. They said that they now recommend the Schedule "B" dosing because it provides the best results. Some people didn't see good improvement at the lower levels.  Maybe this is why Darby's been chewing her feet? Would have been nice for the mfr. to mention this when we ordered the refill vial 
Anyway... just verify you're giving the right dose for the best results. Jaci |
