| At 7 months, he should be really puffy with lots of coat. When you say shiny, do you mean more sleek and straight like a border collie? As many people will attest, anyone can register a dog with 2 AKC parents. They take no responsibility for the quality of dog that you're getting. People can find ways around it too, like using the papers of another AKC dog knowing that the parent was not actually that dog. |
| There've been a couple of reports of people asking on this forum about their OES's coat being shiny and black and white...and turns out that even though they were told their dog was OES (or even had papers saying it) that the dog clearly is not an OES. If that is the case here, the person should consider reporting the person who sold them the dog. |
