I finally bought a grooming table!!!!

I've been doing my research, found an excellent deal.
I bought one that is 48L x 23W x 30H In. It comes with an adjustable grooming arm and noose.
It's was $84.99 + shipping. It will make my life so much easier. :phew:
I have been grooming them by tying their leashes to the pool fence.
But they walk back and forth and it takes so long and drives me crazy because I keep having to get up and follow them  Sometimes chase...if I am trying to get the legs done.
I can't wait until I get it. Pepsi is due for a shave down.

Congrats! that's a great deal.....
I was amazed at the difference having a table makes, now I couldn't be without one. :)
That's awesome! I'm going to be making my own in a few weeks here - well my husband is going to be making it . . .!!! Let us know how you love it!
Emily,
I have been asking my hubby to make one for a year. He said yes and forgot all about it. I finally gave up!!

Stacey,
I am very happy with the price I found. I know this will make it so much easier on me. I am sure the dogs too. I also plan to grow Rags out this winter so I will be getting lots of use from it. They also run around in circles when I am brushing them
YAY Congratulations, a good investment you will never regret 8) Saves the back and the creaking stiff bones & joints on the one who grooms. Let's know how the fur kids go with getting use to the table. :D
Congrats! It will make a world of difference and you will wonder why you waited so long!

Remember that you are in charge here. I never let the dogs off til I say. Then Carl only lets them off by lifting them...I cheat!....I tell them down...so they get down. No way am I lifting 100 lbs of Martin unless I'm placing him on his side. lol 8O

I'm excited for you!

Best of luck
Yeah Elissa.. that great news!!!!.. I am a bit jealous.. my back is still killing me from yesterday when I clipped Murph.

Do you have a good picture of what one looks like.. I will get Troy to make me one.. or at least I will start bugging him now for one.. should be done by the time Murphy needs to get clipped aain.

Steve and I were wondering how you groomed them.
Thanks everyone :D

Stacy,
Not very easily... LMAO... I was basically sitting on the ground while they were tied to the fence. Then getting up to follow them here and there. Last week I put Rag on the kitchen table. She kept moving all around of there too. So the grooming arm and noose will help tremendously.

Dudster, Here is the link to the one I bought. http://www.petedge.com/shopping/product ... uctID=2682
You may have to put in your zip code, but it will then it should bring you right to the page. There is a place of the page under the picture that says view larger. That should give you a better idea.
If that doesn't load... You can just type in the item # which is TP154

Carl's wife, I really wish I had gotten one earlier. But couldn't afford it.
Saving my back will make it worth it. 8)
I use the tailgate of the truck as my table.......... works really well until the cat comes by and Dexter wants to watch her...........

What a GREAT idea!!!

Finally a use for my dead truck!
What a creative idea. That would be the right height for me - as long as it's just a plain one, not with big tires or jacked up. Actually Todd's Ford Ranger would work. I'll keep that in mind if I'm feeling too lazy to get the grooming table out the garage for a small job! :)
The truck really is a good place for us......... it's in the garage so it's in the shade - if it's too hot we just raise the garage door...... plus the clean up is really easy and I don't have to worry about "fur" flying EVERYWHERE!!!...............
