Poll on boy names...

I figured a poll might be easier.

I added Declan...not hubby's favorite, but I've always liked it, it reminds him of two guys in Ireland, very poplular name there.

I voted Hayden Chase Reid :)
I voted Hayden...although I was torn between that and Holden...although Holden reminds me of Catcher in the Rye... :)
It's Merrick for me.. very dark and mysterious sounding.... Like a romance novel hero.

I had a roommate in college named Merris and this is just too similar for me to enjoy!
I've never had to read Catcher in the Rye, I hear it is a very scary/weird story and characters.

I watch a soap which a charachter is Holden, it just kinda stuck with me.

I love a name that denotes mystery and charm, if you were to date the guy a name you'd like to introduce to your mother.
My last name is Haden pronounced the same as Hayden so that name is not one of my choices.
We picked out the name Hunter if we had had a boy.

I voted for Holden...because of Catcher in Rye. I loved that book and he was a great character.
Merrick!!!

come on... nobody can think of a movie with that name in it??
I wish I would have thought of that before... ugh
John Merrick is the Elephant Man!!
Well there was Magnificent Obsession with Jane Wyman and Rock Hudson. Rock played a character named Bob Merrick.
Isn't Merrick a type of dog food? My last name was very close to a big name dog food label and I got a lot of @#$@# for that growing up...

I googled it, and yes it is a family name brand of dog food, available everywhere, but only 1 store in the town beside me...not too common. Merrick is also the elephant man's last name...that was a sad movie.

I still like the name, but this is good. Tell me anything about the names that could be negative.

From what I remember, I don't think is was scary at all. It was about a boy growing up.

It wasn't scary--just a coming of age, but in a disturbing way, but not disturbing in the sense of today's teen coming of age stories...
