Adding Insult to Injury

Earlier I was eating my lunch - leftover Spicy Jerk Chicken that I made at the BBQ on Monday. I got a phone call and put my plate down on an end table and left the room. Bailey never counter surfs, but leaving chicken at lower than nose level was too much temptation. I hear this unfamiliar noise out in the family room and finally realized - it's the sound of my dish being moved across the table as Bailey finished off my chicken! At least I got out there before he knocked the dish off the table.

Less than five minutes later, I hear a more familiar noise - Bailey throwing up. Obviously the allspice and habenero pepper disagreed with him immediately. So, not only does he eat my lunch, but I also have to clean up the mess.

lol......BAILEY.......obviously he is feeling better from last week.......yup, habenaros will do it...do you think he learned his lesson??? Ha, who am I kidding....lol....
8O

Oh dear the chcken bandit. Mmmm wonder if he has learnt a lesson from hot and spicy 8) Here's hoping the other end is not affected later :?
Oh!!! 8O Do you think he made the connection?!
Lol. That sounds like something that would happen to me! I'm currently shopping for a counter height table to avoid that situation since Bear is taller than the table as it is.
Brutal. So unfair.
I hope he's ok!

Doubtful! They never seem to get it when it comes to food!
That would suck. Poor guy. Poor you.
He's just fine. He threw it up too quick to do any damage. I'm sure if I left the same thing in the same place he would do it all over again, silly puppy. But I'll have to be careful about plates now because I don't want him developing the habit
Yuck. That sucks...At least he could have had the decency to keep it down!
Oh dear! Poor Sue! Poor Bailey! 8O

AMEN to that, Stacey!
Glad you didn't have to deal with the runs.
They never learn as far as food. They eat anything that's available to them
:twitch:
Reading the back posts is fun!!! I had a doberman whn I was a little girl that would come tearing across the house if he heard anything drop on the floor. ANYTHING. He even ate one of my antibiotics one time.. needless to say, my mother was going crazy with trying to make him puke and junk. LOL
Although, he also ate hankies, socks, stuffed bunnies, stuffed bears, stuffed kitties, and last but not least, a kid or two if he could have only caught them, (we had to send him away for that one.. :( ) Crazy dogs!
