Upper Respiratory Infection

Just got back from a quick visit to the vet with Miss London. They had given her the puppy shots and a kennel cough vaccine a week ago this past Monday. Well the kennel cough has turned into an upper respiratory infection - on antibiotics and cough tablets with a sedative to ease the inflammation in her airways.

Other than that the vet says she is quite dramatic, good at flirting, has grown 2 inches in the week and half we have had her and has gained 3 lbs.

Oh and I am suppose to keep her calm and sedate. 8O I laughed at the vet and did ask him if he wanted me to walk on water while I was at it. :lmt:

Hope she feels better soon good luck with keeping the pupper calm and sedate 8O
hahahahahaha...yeah right...calm and quiet....lol.....hope she feels better...give her a GENTLE kiss for me.....(before she goes in for the nose bite 8O )
I hope she feels better and recovers quickly!
Calm & Sedate...the only way to achieve that is with a sedative 8O
Awww... hope she feels better soon! :)
Poor baby...I hope she's feeling better soon!

The only time I've seen a calm & sedate sheepie puppy is when they were asleep!
Blue, Merlin, and Panda are sending London get well wishes and hope that she is feeling better soon.

How is London doing today?
She gets the meds twice a day at 6 am & 6 pm. Have noticed very little coughing during the 12 hrs but if she goes 1 hr over say give the medicine at 7 the coughing starts back up slightly. Vet thinks the antibiotics are starting to kick in.

Otherwise life with London is ..... tiring :? She is into EVERYTHING. Grooming is interesting too. It would be the equivalent of trying to wash a car while the car is moving at about 25 mph. But all in all she is a love and totally annoys the big boys. Lucky was trying to pee and I guess she wanted to know what it was or where it was coming from and he peed all over her head. 8O

She is definitely what we needed to complete this sheepie household for right now.
LOL
Sounds like she is a lot of fun :)

Do you use a grooming table?
I tried but she kept jumping up putting her paws on either side of my head and then she tucks her head up under my chin. And of course I lose it.... and of course I can't do that to my precious kid... so uh we tried grooming with her on my lap.
Sounds a lot like my house. Hope London is feeling perfect again soon!
that is so funny!!! London sounds like a doll!! Maybe a bit peeish...but fun!
