Happy Again!

Hi All. Just want to let you know that I'm happy again! I was really going through a funk there for a while and I feel better now :D

Foz is shaping up to be a sweetie pie...at least this week :D He seems to understand us and Annie now and gives lots of kisses. We took him to the play area again on Saturday and he had a blast. Steve said that Foz almost fell asleep in the bathtub afterwards 8O He's still a little turkey. As I write this, he just rolled off the couch for the second time today. He's going to hurt himself one of these days.

We start intermediate trainng at Petsmart next Saturday and I'm hoping we learn some tips on how to walk better on a leash. Steve has been walking him with a gentle leader for a few weeks now and it hasn't gone as well as we hoped. Foz pulls a TON and I won't be able to walk him until we get this under control.

Of course, Annie is wonderful as always! She frequently still plays tug with Annie and they even ran and wrest around the house like crazies together yesterday. She is still quite active for a 9 year old. Just picked her up from the groomer today and she looks beautiful. I hope to take some 4th of July pictures today or tomorrow and will post them.

Steve's writing papers for his final two classes. He should be finished and have his MBA by the end of August! I'm very proud of him!

As for me, I'm planning a surprise party for my Mom's 60th birthday. My new manager started about 2 weeks ago. Hopefully he'll reorganize our team soon and I'll have more work to do. Really going bonkers!

Stacy,
Sounds like you had post partum depression from getting Fozzie. 8O
Glad everything is working out. I remember the night we brought Pepsi home and there was complete chaos in the house. Pepsi peed like 5 times in the house. Everyone was running around and growling. I cried for the better part of the night thinking I made a big mistake. After about two days everything was fine. But of course I stressed myself out and was in tons of pain and it took me a while to recoop.

That is so wonderful that Annie is playing with Fozzie. He has rejuvenated her. 8)

Congrats to Steve on his final classes!!

Good luck with your Mom's party....and DON'T stress yourself about it.

Also don't take on too much work. You won't have time to play around on the forum

Yay glad you are coming out of the slump, I think we all go through things like that once in awhile. Smile :D

Can't wait to hear how the next training course goes, he did so good at the puppy one. Cute and with brains too

Seriously that's what I felt like, but my hormones weren't affected by the birth of the Foz monster.

Use a "prong" collar. I know they look horrible, BUT they work! Used one on one of my dogs years ago. Only took putting it on her a couple of times and she got the idea. After that, back to her regular collar and NO more pulling.

Let a neighbor borrow it and she had the same results. Her dog actually dragged her, sending her to the doctor! After wearing the prong collar a couple times, he was a gentleman.

For no longer than you'll need it, if you know someone that has one, borrow it. Otherwise, you spend the money and basically throw it in a drawer.... But, its worth every penny!
So glad to hear you're feeling better.
