Hi all....
We went camping this weekend (summer is almost over) it was us (cris, Pisco and me) and some friends.....parked our cars, set the tents, put Pisco food beside the tent (as always done) ....went for long walks and enjoyed ourselves....when nite time came we sat by a fire to chat...Pisco was with us at all time...he had made his rounds of our tents plus some others that were nearby....every noise he hear he would pick his head up and listen then settle down again, but a couple of times he made soft growles and a soft bark (both times someone walked by) after we settled down to sleep (Pisco had his rug for him outside the tent) Pisco started growling real hard and louder barks...when Cris went out the tent to find out what was going on....someone had wandered close to our cars....and was spying inside the car Sad and walked away as soon as Cris said what the matter to Pisco, after a while a Park gaurd came and Pisco gave a soft bark but settled down....Cris told him about the incident and he said that some robbers had robbed a near by car and got caught on the way out....seems or cars where next if it hasn`t been for Pisco. Smile
Good boy!Very Happy
Way to go Pisco!!! Good boy Very Happy I'm glad he watches out for you!!!

I wasn't too smart one day and answered the door without checking to see who it was first but Neville was right there beside me growling before i could open the door too far. I had never seen the guy before and as soon as he saw Neville he left VERY fast.

What would we do without our babies
Yeah!!! Pisco the hero dog!!! I'm sure he got lots of doggie treats and told what a good boy he was - (well more than usual) Very Happy

Way to go Pisco! Neville too- good going!

Marianne
Pisco and Neville, you did a great job protecting your family! That was a great story! My husband works at night, so I depend a lot on Jack and Annabelle to bark or growl when there is someone around. I have also learned after a possible bad situation that if my husband isn't here and it is just me and the kids that I won't open the door. It is different if I am expecting someone, but I am glad that we all have our protective sheepies to keep us from harm. Hugs to them both, Stormi and co.
