1. Open the glass patio door 2. Open the screen door 3. Let pup outside and close screen door only. 4. Call puppy to "come" when he is in the corner of the yard eating bark off a tree. 5. Don't open the screen door because you assume he will stop before he gets to it 6. Ta Da! You now have a new doggie door. Thought I'd mention...Annie used it this morning when I didn't let her in quickly enough. Foz must have forgotten about his new installation |

| LOL....I need this for my foster girl, Maggie. She gets to the door and if you don't open it fast enough, she'll squat right there on the rug. |
| Annie and Fozzie now both use this as their new doggie door |
| That's pretty funny. At least they are using it. It would be more annoying if they refused to go through it. I'm impressed with Fozzie's gumption. |
| Our old dogs used to do this. Finally my Dad put one of those grills/metal things on the lower portion of the screen door. It worked...sort of. Then they used the grill thing to slide the door open with their paws...and of course they never closed it behind them. |
| If it makes you feel any better, Panda decided to build her own doggie door...she pulled the metal wiring out one by one and created a nice size hole....... |
| Apparently he didn't even flinch when he first installed the doggie door. He hesitated when he went through, but followed Annie on into the house |
| I've had them crash out and take the whole door but never an inward crash with torn hole!! Wow!
I installed grates on the lower part of the door to remind the dogs there is a screen and to hopefully stop the screen scratching. Well, it has cut back on the crashing, but now they just jump up before scratching. sigh |
