Oooops. Sorry, Darcy.... Force of habit...

---------------------------------------------------

I have used Nature's Miracle, from PetSmart, to get bloody diarrhea out of a round, woolen ropelike area carpet. (Can't recall what those rugs are called.. :? )

Read the directions carefully. Scrap off all the solid stuff, and spray it in to soak. It must sit in it overnite, and may smell really bad at first, but the next day all is well.
I've used nature's miracle with some success too... but if that doesn't work, and if it is a light colored rug.... I would try steam clenaing it using color safe bleach instead of actual carpet cleaner. THAT has worked miracles for me. LOL

I'd try the other stuff first because I'd hate to see you damage the carpet with my suggestion... just in case. LOL
Lol. I've been talking her through the cleanup. You know, feeling bad and making sounds like "eeew" and "gross!"

I'm lost without a Little Green Clean Machine, though!
I'm sitting here sniffing the same gross smell. Nature's Miracle is the first step and follow directions! Blot up as much as you can and let it dry. Then shampoo the area the next day. I sometimes use more Nature's Miracle in the machine and then come back several hours later with the carpet shampoo. After all dry, vacuum, vacuum, vacuum. That usually does it. The trick is to not get the stuff down deep in the pile if possible. Otherwise you may need to call in a professional cleaner.
lol...Jill dealt with my gross sounds...i used carpet cleaner, but it was terrible to get it out of the carpet.....then I found more on her dog bed and floor and then in the dining room on the floor board where she sleeps.....DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!

The floors are all clean now, just need to take a shower to finish the job...Panda got a hosing down herself in the yard 8O
LOL

Yuck! :twitch:
8O :twitch:

Yuck also, glad it is you and not me, tiled floors are so much easier when poop explodes everywhere, hope you get the stain and smell out darcy :? REALLY, REALLY, Hoping Pandas tummy settles down for you :?
Eeewww!! Glad you were able to get it cleaned up. Poor Panda! Poor Darcy!!

I'm guessing Jill has now convinced you to purchase your own Little Green Clean Machine??
I have actually found it easiest...especially if the poop is partially dried when you find it...to cover it with baking soda until it dried completely. Then I pull it off when it is dry. The baking soda helps it dry faster and helps with smell. Then if there is any stain...I use a stain remover. Usually Spot Shot. The last time this happened there was barely a visible stain after the baking soda step. I buy baking soda in a huge resealable bag at Costco and use it for normal house cleaing things.
Well, Heres the am check. Pandas dog bed is now clean after going through the washer twice....The rug still has a small stain on it, but I think Ill be able to get it out...hopefully, she is under control now....eeechhh!
Is she still taking the anti-inflamatory?
I didnt want to give it to her this morning, as I didnt want the same welcome home present 8O ....Ill give it to her at dinner....and see what happens....If she continues to have diarrea, Ill stop and call the vet........
Spot Shot is awesome! I totally forgot about that stuff! LOL
So sorry for your Darc,
Pepsi has had loose bowels that haven't not been making it to the ground until after he comes in side  Hayley must have shared some of her food with him. I love that she's so generous. Just wish she wasn't as willing to share with the dogs.
My Little Green clean machine has been all over the house this weekend.... I am sick of seeing little poops all over. I also stepped in a two of the little poopy spots on the wood floor and almost broke my neck.
Ahhh, The joys of dog ownership
Panda is OFF the anti inflamatories...have to go back to the vet tomorrow for a different kind.......they were HORRIBLE....Ive NEVER seen her with such loose bm's......2 1/2 immodiums later all is back to normal....the sad thing is that I think those poopy tablets were working....
Don't worry darcy they will put her on some other anti-inflam. to help her without the poopie explosion, they definately did not agree with her.

So better for you and your rug and better for Panda and her tummy.

Just a matter of which one that agrees with her
Well, the new meds are called Medacam...a liquid...for one week....hopefully this will work and no side effects....keep your fingers crossed!
What was the original anti-inflam and for what reason? Simone can't handle any of it, tho the results came out the front, not the back end. So far Bufferin is as much as she can handle and that still produces an urp now and then.

Hope this Metacam works.

susan
Ya know, Susan I dont remember...it was something that began with a p....big tablet that i cracked in half....so 1/2 of a tablet once a day.....
Darc, how's panda girl doing? (both with her pain and her poop)?
poop is under control...thank goodness! and the new med seems to work wonderfully!!!!!!!!!!! Her little back leg doesnt seem to bother her...its only the first day so Im just keeping my fingers crossed....but so far so good!
YAY!! I hope the meds continue to work with no side effects.
Glad to hear she is doing better. :D
