We have been adopted......again

A few weeks ago we had a dog just show up around the house. I thought he belonged to someone in the neighborhood, and he waw just hanging out at the house. Well, as I watched his weight decreas I decided that he just might have been thrown out. So..being the animal lover that I am, I started feeding him. Looks like he is mine now. He can hear my truck coming and he meets me at the driveway and follows me to the house. I believe he is an old dog, looked at his teeth last night and he has none on the bottom in front. Doesn't seem to bother his eating any though, he can put away some food. I think he may have some Great Pyrenees in him, boy is he huge. He stands at least 5 inches taller than Pud. So we have a new member to our household and the oes.org.

You kind soul :D
Got a picture of your new baby that you can share?
I'd love to see him!
I will get pics this weekend of him and the Pud Monster too. We don't have any pics posted of him either.
Everything happens for a reason.. bless you for taking him in..

do we get to see pictures soon??????
Congrats! Does he have a name? And pics pics pics! :)
We're a demanding bunch when it comes to pictures!
The hubby has named him Big Foot, I call him Foots. Boy, has he got some huge feet. He still has all of his dew claws, which I thought was strange. I thought they always removed dew claws?
Aw...thanks for helping him out!
Welcome Foots!
I can't wait to see pictures of him.... my three favourite breeds are....

OES (of course)
Bernese (of course)
and Great Pry's....
Bless you for keeping him and welcome to Foots!!!!
WELCOME FOOT!! Pics are definately in order!! Can't believe you haven't post a picture of Pud yet either!!!! Pictures are REQUIRED here
I know, I know. The digital camera is broken and have not had the spare funds to buy a new one. The heat and ac had to come before the camera. Finally figured out that I can have film developed to disc and that way I can share with my friends here.
Great Pyrs keep their dews.......in fact at the south end (rear legs) they have double dews. I don't know if the double dews carry over in hybrids. I think most of the French breeds in livestock have double dews in the rear.

Also Pyrs carry their wonderful tail a bit differently.......in pure breds the tail is out and over........that is it curls over. It's called the "wheel." It's not carried over the back, but raised about half and then kinked to one side or the other.

Looking for pictures, whenever. Foots has a good new home. Pyrs and sheepers get along pretty well.......but totally different personalities.
Betsy, thanks SO much for being a rescue angel for Foots! Having just been "adopted" by a stray tabby cat, I can relate! Can wait to see pics!
Bless you, Betsy, for taking in this baby and making him your own. :clappurple:
Foots' tail acts like a helicopter when he sees me. Instead of wagging back and forth it goes around and around in circles. Mac and I keep waiting for him to take off!
