I'm sorry look

Do your guys have the "I'm sorry" look when they've done something bad?

Fox is becoming poop incontinent. Every morning after feeding them I try to get all to go outside. Fox won't budge. He wants a few more minutes with Mom. Unfortunately I get busy and forget to urge him to go outside. My reward is poop in the house. At least he comes and lets me know he's been a bad boy by giving me the I need to go outside nudge.

Today, once again, he was pooping as he came to me.......and dummy me forgot to look before I stood up

He felt bad and high tailed it to the door with his head hung low. He is just short of whimpering in embarassment. I don't say anything, I just get the paper towels, bag and enzyme cleaner for the carpet. Wonderful way to start the morning.

Yea, everyt ime Tasker "coutner surfs" he TRIESto pretend he's sorry  I know the look well.
I've recently stopped crating the dogs during the day, and given them run of the kitchen.

I had tried this before, but Keira was just too young and wild. She'd chew everything in sight! So we went back to crating.

Now she is doing great! But when I get home, she runs under the kitchen table with a guilty look, just in case she did something wrong.

Thank goodness...she hasn't! She just isn't taking any chances!
I think they all have that look and it is a conspiracy I am sure, how can you get angry with them when they look at you that way, it melts your heart.
I get more of the "what are you going to do about it??" look
Jasper doesn't really do anything bad. He eats, sleeps, plays with Joy, and plays with us.

Joy, on the other hand, is becoming an evil little dog. lol She has started growling at the kids for no reason - although she never snaps/bites them. She tries to kill the cats all the time. The cats are so on edge now - they won't jump down from higher ground unless she's sleeping. She digs through the garbage can and knocks it over making huge messes, jumps on the table/counters. Yesterday, she jumped on the counter to the sink where I had two packs of ribeyes thawing out for dinner. She ate the entire thing... She had never tried to do that before. The worst was today. Jake got a late birthday present from his grandmother today. Well, he opened it up and it was a really cool (to him) Cars racetrack (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000BN62KI/sr=8-3/qid=1151545357/ref=sr_1_3/002-6137752-9022445?%5Fencoding=UTF8&v=glance). Him and Brandon were racing their cars. Jasper was barking at it and jumping around getting excited, but they both were a good distance away from the boys & track. All of a sudden Joy jumps and grabs Jake's red car - takes off running with it. I try to catch her, she goes through the dog door. I opened the patio door to follow her, and she crushed the car in front of me... Jake saw it - started crying - then him and Brandon started fighting over who will race the blue car - which led to me taking it away and them both crying... *sigh* It's been a long day.

Even with all of that, she's never guilty or sorry - at least she doesn't show it. I think we got a dog going through it's rebellious "teenage" years.... lol At least she's still a puppy (7 mo) so there's still hope....I think? =) She's very hard-headed and stubborn, so she doesn't listen to us very well. She does have a very sweet side and loves to play, so that's her saving grace. I guess it could be worse - at least she is housetrained.
I've seen Dancer givem e the guilty look before... it is hilarious....

Sky is oblivious though... she is always happy and goofy looking, no matter what. LOL
All of mine have perefected the "What?" or "Huh?" look. Not a lot of guilt in these parts. :)

Here either. It's more of a "I have no idea what you're talking about, Mom. It was like that when we found it" look.
Oh yeah, Panda really gives the guilty look....especially after last nights poopie explosion....

The guilty look makes me feel kinda better, but I really wish she would just help clean up HER messes....yuck!
