Visit from Grandma

Last week I asked my Mom if she might be working from home or near our house during lunchtime as my company was having a BBQ. She often doesn't know where she'll be working in the event one of her employess calls in and then she needs to fill in. My neighbor let the pups out on Tuesday so I didn't want to seem like a mooch. Mom called last night to say that she would be able to come over!!!

Well, I just spoke to Mom and all she could do was gush over Foz. It really made me happy to hear her sound so happy and animated. Both Foz and Annie were very good for Grandma and were very excited to see her. Foz gave tons of kisses and followed Mom around everywhere. Mom even said she played and ran around with them a little bit in which all seemed to enjoy! As many of you know, we put her dog Pandy down only a few weeks after Foz came home. It was very hard and they hadn't been active for years.

I know she doesn't like Foz being in his crate and always asks when he can be out and about. Today was no different as after being with him for 45 minutes she thinks he would be fine with noone home. I DON'T THINK SO...not yet! :D We have a ways to go!

Aw!
It sounds like you might have to check to see if she stole Foz!
Sounds like Mom and the dogs had fun. 8)
I agree with Steph... Fozzie may be missing when you get home 8O
Glad Foz was on his bestest behavior!!! I know what you mean though... Pip is always into something! We may be able to leave him to his own devices on a good day, but on a bad day, he'd have something naughty in his mouth within half a second!!!!
What great dogs...to lift Grandma's spirits that way.

:cheer:

If Fozzie is missing when you get home...don't worry...he will pull a puppy prank and your mom will promply return him

let's hope he's not full of doggy treats, and leave you lovely suprises or a tummy ache when you get home...grandma's after all
Aww sweet story!

I remember once reading a story in Readers Digest about a grandma bragging her little grandkids never argued or misbehaved at her house. She explained they never had a reason to say no as she only offered the grandkids their favorite food and activities. yup ...Grandma's they just love to spoil...doesn't matter if they are two or four legged grandkids.
