At least three more OES's in FL Panhandle

I am brand new here and we adopted Cher's (CHER - ID#A093399 http://www.paws-shelter.com/seiten/petsonparade.php ) little son this this past week. The shelter there in Fort Walton Beach has her, her other daughter and son as well as the Dad, though he was not available. I was told that they were all confiscated from a neglectful/abusive owner on May 30th. Our little OES is simply amazing. He is already fast friends with out cat, and is smart as smart can be.

Welcome to the forum! Congrats on your rescue.

I'll PM "SheepieMum" about the other two. She's a great rescue contact who is in Ocala, about 5 hours away.
Awwwe...
How wonderful that you've adopted one of the sheepies. :D

There's no pictures of Laura or Mikey but Cher is shown. I hope Marie can assist them... it's good someone removed them from a bad situation.
I don't know if she can help, but maybe she knows people in the area. Anyway I did send a PM to her.
I could make it there in 4 hrs. Hmmm .... how old are the babies the other daughter and son?

Working on hubby now.... hehehehehe
I've been working on these dogs for weeks -- there were 10 OES confiscated from a commercial breeder.

7 - 7week old puppies
the mother (Cher)
the father (Sonny)
another young adult female (Charlotte)

Some other little dogs, plus her human children were also taken.

Some puppies had been previously sold on the internet were shipped by the shelter to the new owners (who were told why they they were getting them from the shelter and not who they bought them from)

They won't release them to rescue -- want to place them themselves...

But I haven't given up -- I call everyday. I now have a local person that will be going into the shelter to try to get them out...

Welcome to the forum! :)
Do you want me to see if I can get them?
What would you do with them? Are you a member of an OES rescue organization?

Marie
Welcome to the forum :) And a big thank you for rescuing that boy :clappurple:
Welcome to the forum and Congrats on your new addition!!!
Thanks to all who welcomed us. Our new OES is only 3 months old, and is ssoooo smart we can't get over it. I hope that some how the pups in this place will get themselves into good homes. Our little guy (now Rodney) is going to be loved for years to come. I wish that I had more time, $, and skills as a dog owner. Watching my five year old tell Cher (the Mom in the shelter) that we were going to take one of her kids and that we would take good care of him was about all I could handle. Then my daughter tells me on the way home from the shelter(as only a five year old could) that Cher was happy that we took her son, and 'gave her permission' to do it!

I think she was offering to help, be a physical body to present to the humane society people?
Awwwww... that was sooo touching (sniff, sniff). Letting the mama know that one of her babies was going to be just fine :D

I KNOW I'm speaking for all of us nosey posters here... we'd LOVE to see him! Got a picture you can share of your new baby Rodney?

Welcome to the forum! I'm glad you found us and you'll find a TON of helpful information here. There are several of us on the forum who have pups that are about 4 months old. Feel free to post or send us messages at any time!
I want to take all of them. I wish I lived in FL.
