new puppy
Then the next weekend I was at Petco with all the dogs they have there for adoption and they had this really sweet 7 wk old puppy (all I know is that the mother is 1/2 husky) that was pure white. He has since developed a couple of light brown spots on his head and back. Daisy loved the pup and I brought him home for a "test drive" after the first experience to be sure it would work out. Daisy and the pup (who was called Luke) get along really well and even the cat liked him, so it is official - he is staying. He has been renamed Ollie (with Daisy and Luke all I could think of was the Dukes of Hazard) and is doing really well - but housetraining starts all over again. Thanks to whoever it was that mentioned the bell training - Ollie seems to be getting the hang of it for going out to "poop" but the peeing is another story. Since he's only 8 wks old, I hopeful.
