Sue, I'm still having problems with the oesrnse website.

I get a pop up that says I have to "click to run active x" and when I do click, it completely shuts down the internet connection.
Hi Tammy
Not sure what is happening with their website :?
Here is the text...I will post the pix if you want to see?!
I have a couple contacts here in Atlanta so I am trying to help
This OES/PYR needs some friends...
Diane
Old English Sheepdog/Great Pyrenees mix needs rescue
The white dog in the pic, along with a GSP, was found by a friend of a friend. The friend kept the dogs in her fenced-in backyard. After the GSP left, having been taken in by a rescue, the sheepdog/pyrenees mix started jumping the fence. Since the friend couldn't keep the dog from jumping the fence, she turned it into Walton County AC in Monroe, GA last Thursday. I found out about it after the fact. I had already planned on getting the dog vetted and then looking for a place for the dog to go. I will still do that if I can get anyone to take in this dog. The dog needs to be out by Thursday, since that is the day they pts. Please crosspost this email to try to find rescue for this dog. I can transport. I don't know its sex or vet history, and I understand it's a very sweet dog. If anyone is interested, I can find out on Monday when the AC opens and let you know. Thanks!!
Ann

You maybe missing the plugin try downloading the version you need

http://www.iol.ie/~locka/mozilla/control.htm#download

I think that might be your problem.
Thanks for posting the text, Diane! I appreciate it. I don't know why I'm having trouble either, Sue. I downloaded the version that Spacegirl21 linked (THANK YOU SPACEGIRL21), but that still doesn't fix the problem. I would really welcome any other suggestions as to how to fix this issue. OESRNSE is not the only website I have a problem with, but since I work for the rescue and visit it frequently, it is the most important one.

THanks.

Is this fellow a cross post or is OESRNSE helping him?
Are you you using Firefox or Internet Exployer? Perhaps get your latest updates also for windows?? Just thinking out loud... if this helps. :)
I am using IE and come to think of it, this only started happening when I recently upgrade my Microsoft office suite to 2003. :?
Did anyone take this poor dog?
:D Yes...
SAFE
I will post later with details
Diane :clappurple:
WHEW! Thanks Diane :)

Well, let's don't count our chickens before they hatch! I'll let you know when the fat lady has sung. He is at the vet's now...he smells like he's lived in a chicken coop his entire life (and now I smell like I've lived in one, too!). His back half is very badly matted, so he will have to be clipped, and he's intact (of course!). All of this can be corrected. The good part is he is a very, very good boy! Very sweet, seems to be only curious in other dogs, no barking at them, no aggression toward them, walks great on a leash...sweet, sweet, sweet. Rides very well in the car, too, except for wanting to get into the front seat. But, he found out he couldn't fit as he stood halfway between the front and back after my efforts to keep him in the back failed miserably! HA! He will make someone a really good pet. Makes me sick to think anyone could even think about killing him. He's young, too, as when he urinates, he sometimes squats like a puppy. I bet he's somewhere between one and two years old...teeth look really good and white. I am glad I could help him...wish I could help more!
Ann
THANK YOU ANN :) And thanks Diane for the update.
YEAH!!!! Great work Diane. Our prayers are that the potential furevfer home comes thru for that boy!!!
I am just a messenger passing the word along
He is a big sweet boy & would make someone a great fur friend.
He has been neutered & shaved & bathed!
Oh...he did test positive for HW
But that can be treated...he is young & healthy otherwise!
Wish I knew of someone for him :lmt:
Diane
diane,
i thought he has 2 possible homes, did that fall through? sue
Hi :D
I think he has a couple places to go...
BUT I'm not sure if they are furevers
Diane
Hi Diane,

I was doing some research about my dog who I adopted from Atlanta Pet Rescue in August 2005. He was thought to be an OES/mix named Overton who had been originally rescued from the Ga Paulding County Animal Shelter around May/June 2005. He was then re-surrendered in early August 2005, and I was blessed to have him come into my life then. I named him Rory and he is the best companion!! I was wondering if you happened to download puppy pictures of him because I would love to have them. I thought with all the internet photos, I might be able to find one of him as a youngster.

Thank you!
Dara
Hi Dara
Oh my... :excited:
I am thrilled you have Overton...now Rory! Yes...he was in Paulding County Humane...just a babe named Rufus & so needed out of that place! Once I saw his pix I was on a mission to save him & get him out!
Just can't tell you how I worried about that fella! He was an owner turn in...can ya imagine?! I sent his pix & story to Judy Price of Atlanta Pet Rescue & became his sponsor ... that is a wonderful program!
Yes, I have one pix of that darling boy!
PM me & I will send it to you!
Hope you will share pix of what he looks like now 8)
This is just so neat...this amazing internet!
Hope you will stick around this OES Forum & tell us all about Rory & what he is up to these days!
It's a friendly place...
Diane...Thanks for making my day :yay:
