Ill. Sheepie play date was a hit!

We really had a nice time today. The weather was great, and the park in Libertyville was beautiful.

In attendence was:

Me, Tony, Pirate and Keira.
Stacy, Steve, Anne and Foz (who went for an unexpected dip in the lake).
Amanda, her sister (I'm sorry I'm old and have forgotten her name) and lovely Izzy.
And...Laurie, sans Oscar.

It was nice to see everyone. We met some nice people from Stacy's town who have a mostly sheepie recue, named Keeper, because he was! And an adorable beardie.

Stacy, thanks for putting this together. It was a blast and we all had a good time, and a great nap afterward!

Ill be posting pictures in the next day or two.

She is very food motivated and always wants more. She loves icecubes, and we can't open the freezer without her running over for one. She also gets carrots and various other vegies...so when the fridge opens she also comes looking for those too.

Ah, except for Annie  I'm so sorry she's so ornery. I was so glad that it was a nice day outside so she and Steve could stand on the sidelines. Amanda and Melissa, thank you so much for driving such a long way to see us! I wish we could've stayed longer, but Annie needed to go home as she was very anxious and nervous. I didn't want any other dogs to be "attacked".

I know Foz and I had a BLAST :D It was great to meet everyone and their pups! Fozzie chased any dog that ran so he seemed to spend most of the time chasing the retrievers at the park going after balls. Cracked me up! I literally took my eyes off of him for 10 seconds to focus on getting to know everyone and off he went following a dog down the dirt hill and stood in the lake. Steve handed Annie's leash off to Laurie and ran to get him. He said the look on his face was priceless! Like, "@#$%, what do I do now?" He looked like a drowned rat. What a character he is!

They slept all the way home and then Foz went right into the bathtub. He must have been wound up because he only napped at home for about 15 minutes at a time. He did seem more subdued at bedtime and this morning though.

Can't wait to do it again!
