Scooby Doo-isms

Pirate is so cute, sometimes I almost can't stand it! I just wanna hug him to pieces.

He has just started doing a new thing that absolutely tickles my heart.

He doesn't sleep with us, but the moment the alarm goes off, he jumps in bed and makes the "Scooby-doo" howl sound! Its sooooooo cute! I think he's telling us good morning! You know the sound, it starts very low, and then the tone rises up!

Good morning, Scooby! is often heard in our house at 5 am!

THAT IS SOOOOOO SWEET AND I HAVE A GREAT MENTAL PIC OF IT HAPPY WAY TO WAKE UP IN THE MORNING. :P
Awwwe. Mine just look at me and if anyone is close enough, they give me a big lick. I'd love a more vocal greeting........except for Glacier standing by the door barking.

How cute! Annie just stands and whimpers in the doorway over the gate. Hubby tells me once he opens the gate she shakes her body off twice, jumps, spins and rubs her body against the wall. He says "shh" as if this will stop her from waking Mommy up before her alarm. Then they race downstairs to rescue Fozzie monster from his crate.
How cute!! That's a very sweet way to wake up!

Both of my babies are sleepy heads. I have to wake them up after I get up. Even then, they're not too keen on getting "up & at 'em".
We are all early birds in our house. Wish we weren't but...well, that's just the way it is!

Khobi, the cat, starts getting up at 4ish. That wakes up Keira who pops in bed with us, but goes to sleep. All this time, Khobi walks around meowing.

The alarm sounds at 5, and Scooby jumps in bed!

And...we're off!
Oh my but that's early!! I would DIE!! 8O 8O

I'm thankful my crew likes sleeping in and aren't on too set of a schedule, so weekends we can sleep a little later and it doesn't mess up their routine.
Rags only does her wake up routine on the weekends. She's so smart!
She jumps up on the bed with head down in bulldozer position, Then she bulldozes Billy & I. The first one to move gets attacked with kisses.
On the weekdays as soon as Billy gets out of bed, Peanut, Pepsi and Rags all climb up and go back to sleep with me. :D

The Scooby doo thing is hysterical. At least you wake up smiling.
I don’t think I would have managed to smile, I’m not awake for the first hour out of bed 8)
Molly was an early riser the first week she lived whit us, but she soon realised that we wasn’t in the mood, so she sleeps until we take her out of her crate :D
Tony and I are very early risers naturally. And...early to bedders. I think our pets take on our cycles.

Even on weekends, when we can sleep later, we don't. 6AM is weekend time!!!

On vacation, in Key West, we managed to stay in bed until 7:30ish!

We great fun at late night parties  NOT!
What an awesome wake-up call! Glacier, one of my cats, sleeps with me all night long and waits patiently for me to stir. The minute I do she comes and nuzzles me. She will wait for me to actually get up before she begins to purr and love on me (no matter how many times I hit snooze!) I've always thought that was particularly sweet as I am not a morning person!
