Our First Car Stopping!

Today my husband and I were out walking the dogs and first a new neighbor stopped us and commented on how beautiful the dogs were. Further along on our walk a car pulled over to the side and 2 older ladies got out and wanted to know what kind of dogs they were and said they were beautiful. All said they had never seen a real live sheepdog before. Through it all Lucky sat patiently while they petted and cooed at him, Sam slobbered them with lots of kisses (We are still working with him  ). The rest of the walk my husband and I just kept grinning at each other.

Just wanted to brag on my boys!

YAY! Isn't that rewarding?! :D
Just Lovely, makes your day when something like that happens when out walking. Hugs for the boys for being such great ambassadors for the breed.
Excellent!! Enjoy the attention! There's lots more to come.
How cool is that? 8)
Yesterday I had Rags with me in the car. We had to stop at a rest stop for Ryan so he could use the bathroom. It was too hot to leave her in the car so Me, Hayley, Ryan and Rags all went.
The rest stop maintenance worker walked over to me to ask if she was a Sheepdog. I proudly smiles and I said yes. He asked why the short haircut. I explained that we lived in the Desert. His comment, "They are really cute even with short hair." At that point I called Rags over to say Hi to him 8)
That is the best isnt it??!! It definately makes you feel proud to be loved and owned by such awesome dogs!

Here Here to Sheepies!
I love when that happens, it makes me smile all day :)
An OES gets attention wherever you go!

On our last trip to Myrtle Beach in April my husband took Nelson walking on the beach. Thinking they had been gone a long time I looked out the window and see a huddle of bikini clad girls surrounding my hubby and Nelson. Guess that really boosts the ego of a guy in his late 50's.
He told me later that a young guy asked him how much it would cost to rent the dog for a few days. :rimshot:

Nita
HA HA HA That is so funny Nita, I must tell my husband that walking the girls can be a chick magnet 8)

Might make him walk the girls more
Lisa,
I wouldn't have to worry about that here. If anything hubby wouldn't walk the dogs for fear of guys would try to pick up on him. 8O
We are in the Gay capital of Southern California....ok well that's Palm Springs technically the next town, but there are lots here....and they are already attracted to husbands Manly looks. lol Especially when he's out on the motorcycle.
One of his clients called him Jungle Boy :cow: He was scared to go back there.
Could you just imagine him with two Sheepdogs?... The guys would go nuts. LMAO
Elissa you are cracking me up!
