Drake made me so proud today!

We took Drake on his first long trip today and I was so proud of him because he was soooo good! We went to my Moms today which is 2 and 1/2 hours away and Drake was so good in the van. We stopped once and Drake got out and did his duty like a trooper and we did not even have to stop on the way home. He was so good at my mom's even though he could not go into the house and had to stay outside and it was cold and rainy. He stayed under the carport and played great with the kids. I am just so proud of Drake, it is the first real sign that his training is paying off. He reminds me so much of my kids, they like to cause trouble at home but I do not even reconize them when we go places because they behave so well! My kids teachers just laugh at me when they describe my kids behavior because they sure don't act that good at home and I have to ask if they are talking about the right kid. I am hoping Drake is the same way. So far so good! I am such a proud Mamma 8)

P.S. Happy Easter to all

Good boy Drake :D
Pisco is used to long car drives....we take him a lot to the beach (1hr. away) and we even took him camping a couple of times....and he behaved very nice....last nite we were at a friends house (they always want us to take him too) and he was very nice...knows he can`t do his business inside and asks if he really needs to go....
Oops I missed this post earlier! Yuppers, these guys sometimes make us proud and feel we are doing a good job. Overshadows the times when we think egads! What have I done wrong? I'm talking about our little two and four legged creatures.

Way to go Drake! You just wanted to show the rest of the family that underneath that mischeivous soul there lies a well behaved furball.
Dancer is the opposite, she is sooo well behaved at home, but I take her to my parents to visit almost every Sunday, and she gets a little excited. Their dog is getting older and going blind, and suprisingly he is very gentle with her, but you can tell his patince wears thin after a while with a rambunctious pup pouncing on him and taking over his'bed' (a big thick dog pillow in the front foyer)Also, in the front my parents have floor to ceiling mirrors for closet doors and Dancer barks and pounces at it for a good 5 or 10 minutes every week thinking it's another OES puppy that wants to play, it's hilarious.
