WOOOOOHOOOOOO I AM DONE WOOOOOHOOOOO

Yesterday i started my paper at 2:30 was done around 5ish. I had my mom look it over and she verified that it was a masterpiece!!! Then studied for the final for about 3 hours got a good nights sleep. Handed in my paper at 9 this am and laboured over my test, which a LOT harder than expected, he has very tricky T or F ?'s. I will know if i made an A or B , to get the requirement for the school of ed in 4 days........

Shannon
You go girl!!!! So proud of people that actually have GREAT studying skills.....sigh(thats another story).....My fingers are crossed for the "A"!
Congrats on completing everything!
You didn't think you could make it...but it's over and you made it!
Now take a deep breath and RELAX!! :D
Good Luck on the grade!
Great Job Shannon! Making it through that last horrid final is always such a great feeling!!!! :high5:
Reading this makes me so thankful I will never have another term paper or final exam!

Congrats on finishing up! Treat yourself to a day at the beach or the spa
Beach?? I wish, i am treating myself to a book read. I have been waiting for 2 weeks now, i am the type of reader that once i get one i can't stop till i m done with it, plus it is part of a series.
I only read christian fiction, normally the romance ones. I just grew up that way, my mother was a little misguided, she wouldn't let me read the Lion, The Witch and the wardrobes series because it had witch on the cover, ironically C.S. Lewis is one of the greatest christian writers in history
Now when i read a so called secualr book, it is just shocking to see swear words or sex scences. I guess i am just a little on the nerdy side

Oh, a little off topic, but previously i developed a little cussing problem. I heard myself on video and realized how tacky i sounded, so i got myself to quit, it took about three weeks where i didn't even have the urge to say smaller words. It's funny how little things like that can make you feel good. Now i am trying to work on Chris 8O

Shannon
WOOHOO! Now you can move on to the important stuff....sheepies
Congrats, Shannon! That's a great accomplishment. :clappurple:

Curious...what series are you reading? I like chrisitan fiction, too. :)
Some of my favorites are:

Cathrine Palmer's -Treasure of the Heart Series

Beverly Lewis's -Abrhams' Daughters

Right now i am really into Kristen Heitzmann
I am RECOMMENDING that u MUST read the Diamond of the Rocky Series, these 3 books will pull you in, they are just amazing, plus The 2 books Unforgotten and Secrects are about her greatgrandson. They are simply amazing.

But what i am going to read tonight is her books called The still of night, it is not a sequel to A rush of wings but they are about the same family, also i have her book Halos and i just ordered Twilight.

Now Terri Blackstocks series called Restoration, which the 1st one, Last Light is a very interesting book. The world experices some sort of power outage thing(much more complicated than that) and it's about how one family deas with it. The 2nd one, Night Light, should be out anytime now.

I love buying books, can ya tell. There is not one book on my shelves that i haven't read more than 5 times. One of my most prized possessions is my bookcase. I have spent many hard earned dollars on it. Although my fiance turned me on to odering online where the books are normally half off and in good condition. But when i have to have one, i will go to Lifeway or Christainbooks or Books a Million, which has a surprising amount of good fiction.

Can ya tell i love my books
Shannon
Thanks for the recommendations, Shannon. I'll have to check those out!

I just re-read First Light. It's really cool. We're discussing it in my book club meeting on Monday night. I have ordered Night Light. I think it is coming out in July.

Have you read the Mark of the Lion series by Francine Rivers? Hands down, the best books I've ever read. Her character development and historical placement is unreal. I cannot imagine the amount of research you'd have to do to put a series in another place & time and do it with the ease and detail with which she does it.
I have only read a few by her, i don't know why b.c she is great. I forgot to menchin (sp?) the series by Nancy MOser- The Mustard Seed series, they are another good one.

That stinks about NIght LIght, i was looking online and i thought i saw that it was out, i was all ready to rush out after work and go buy it  Guess i better look closer next time.

Shannon
Ooh,

Have you read "The Red Tent"? It is about the daughter of... I think it is Jacob or maybe Issac. I LOVE that book!!! Any excellent read whether you are particularly interested in a novel about women, or interesting twists on bible stories, or you just like a well told story!
I have read that, Karen. It's about Dinah, Jacob's daughter. It's a great read. Anita Diamont, I think is the author. Good books.

If you liked that, you should read Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. That is an incredible book.

I've seen The Mustard Seed series, Shannon, but haven't read them yet. My next book (for book club) is the fourth in the Liz Curtis Higgs Scottish Highlands series called Grace In Thine Eyes. It's a great series. It retells the story of Jacob and Rachel & Leah only it puts them in 18th century Scotland.
I saw those, but i was in a rush. I love Liz Curtis Higgins, she is one fo the few that has "funny" books. He Bookends was my favorite, i just read...i cant remember the name it had to do ith the radio station and the love rectangle.

I think the one i read from Francine was where a girl got raped... Annointed child or somthing like that.

Shannon
Yes...The Atonement Child...that one was good, too. I haven't read anything by her that I didn't like. :D

Mixed Signals is the Liz Curtis Higgs book about the radio station. I enjoyed it too. I haven't read Book Ends yet, though. I may pick that up this weekend. :D I actually bought it and gave it to a girlfriend for Christmas. I need to get a copy for myself.
Book Ends is the 1st book that made me "gut" laugh out loud. If your stomach is sore after, it's because you have laughed soooo hard.

Shannon
Oh good!! That's definitely one I want to get, then. Thanks!!
You gonna make me link up all of those books one by one,
