Too much sun-What is the best skincare product out there?

Does anyone have a skincare product that they swear by? It could be a moisturizer, exfoliator, mask, anything.
I spent way too much time in the sun without sunscreen and now I am regretting it and am looking for restorative and preventative products.

Estee Lauder Idealist. It's a skin refinisher that goes on underneath your moisturizer. My mom works for Estee Lauder so I get all Estee Lauder free but it's the only product that I would actually pay for. It makes your skin so soft.

I also love Shiseido Pureness cleanser. Mom worked for Shiseido first and I got hooked on it so, even though I actually have to pay for it, I still won't give it up. It works as a gentle exfoliator and cleanses and I've never had a product leave my face feeling so clean.
I use Clinique and really like it.
For make up I use Revlon Age Defying formula with Botofirm.
It has spf 10 in it. My face never seems to tan using it so I guess it works.

I use Neutrogena blackhead eliminating daily scrub exfoliator. Leaves my face feeling VERY clean!

For moisturizing I use Oil of Olay, Oil free Sensative skin formula. I can only use the moisturizer every couple of days or I will break out. Even with the hypoallergic formula.
I use Oil of Olay too :D

I am allergic to clinique :?

Always go out with suncreen on your face or wear a makeup/foundation that has the SPF's in it.

Better late then never

I have had years in the sun too, now I cover up and paler skin is good.
(Being only 21 though LOL 8) )
I swear by Oil of Olay ..... "the soon you start the younger you'll look:    I started using it when I was 20 but I still look 50
I love Eminence Organics, for sun protection their Tomato Sun Cream. It moisturizes and protects your face from the sun and it is all certified organic!Smells yummy and leaves a matte finish as opposed to an oily/lotiony finish. You would need to find a spa in your area that carries it. A little pricey but there is no water in the ingredients so you don't need to use very much.

I do think it is important to know what ingredients are going on your skin because they make it to the rest of your body thru absoption.
I don't get paid to say this but I do sell their products at my spa so unless you live in NC this is not really a commercial

I've never used anything, I don't wear make up, and always thought I looked ok til I hit my 30's. Yuck.
Now I'm definitely wanting to buy some age-defying miracle cream LOL
My mom says I should use Clinique or something similar, higher price range stuff anyway. She calls Oil of Olay "Oil of O Ugly" LOL
That stuff all costs a fortune, and I always find something else to spend money on, usually dog related, so maybe I'll ask for some for xmas
I love my Merle Norman products. Great stuff. The makeup is reasonably priced but their skin care line is a little pricy and it also depends on where you live on how expensive it gets.
Also, even the generic microdermabrasion products are great stuff. They'd probably help with getting rid of all that old, dead, burned out skin from the sun.
Well it isn't really an age defying thing but if you have any zits or keep on getting a pimple in the same spot, try using Proactive, i ordered it from one of those boring infomercials. I was skeptical but it was very reasonable about $30 every two months.
I have not had one breakout in oh...almost a year now, not even a little. And it makes the spots where i kept on gettin them a lot lighter. Now i can't not use it, i feel weird if i don't wash my face with it. I usually use the soap, which has light exfoliation, then after a shower i use the toner and moustrizer lotion, which if i am thinking right has sun protection in it. Never has dried my skin out or anything like that.

wow i just talked for five minutes about Proactive :twitch:

I use Nivea....not expensive AT all...big blue jar of it...it is thick and soaks right in...every one knows that I am a sun freak...I dont have a wrinkle at all...yet  It works as well as the expensive stuff...I swear by it...and a friend who works for Prescriptives told me to hush up about it...lol...
Thanks, everyone!

Growing up in S. California it was madatory to be tan, and my friends and I would stay in the sun forever. And since I don't burn very easily, I never used sunscreen (even though my mom kept saying that it would give me wrinkles...yeah, right...at age 16, who believes that!).

I don't wear makeup. Currently I use that yellow clinique moisturizer and then another SPF suncreen on top of that. I wear suncreen everyday now...I also like Cetaphil...
