A Great Little Stick Vacuum for Hard Floors

I know everyone's always interested in a good vacuum (well, maybe not as much as Darcy and me but...) so I thought I'd share. I just bought an Electrolux Pronto 2 in 1 for my new laminate floors and it's awesome! It's cordless and comes with a wall mounting bracket for charging. For not having a cord, it's amazingly powerful and really light. It sucks up everything from dog hair to big pieces of dog food. Oh, and dirt, too!

I swear I don't get commission, I just really like it! Here's a link if anyone's interested: http://www.best-vacuum.com/electrolux-p ... acuum.html

[I do! I do! I get commission! Plus, Amazon has it at a really good price:

Not trying to hijack your post Jill but your post reminded me of something which made me laugh and I think it might have been Electrolux.

I was standing with Frank in hand after we got finished showing at the Philly dog show and this man walks up to me with a postcard trying to sell me a vacuum cleaner. It cracked me up because I thought what a good place to try and hock vacuums and especially approaching people with the hairy dogs. He was very disappointed to hear that I had just bought a Dyson.
That's a smart salesman. I'm surprised that they don't have booths at dog shows! This is just an Electrolux junior compared to their bigguns anyway!
Yes, I'm surprised too that they don't have booths there too. Primarily, there are only things to buy for your pets and many breed-type knick knacks.
Available for about $74 bucks here:
Electrolux EL1000A Pronto Stick Vacuum

It says it qualifies for "Free Super Saver Shipping", too.

Is this a good deal?
Yeah, that's not bad. I paid about $100 with a service plan included. I don't like to wait for stuff so I got it in my head I needed it Sunday and bought it at Best Buy.
Thanks for the post-sounds like a great vacumn for the $$.

What was the name of the little machine you liked for
carpet spills? I believe it was on an old thread.
I could use something for spot cleaning
Thanks! :D
Jill, is there any type of vacuum thing you don't have

Little Green Clean Machine.... Go ahead Ron...post a link :D
This is the closest I can find:

Bissell 1425B Little Green Proheat Turbo Carpet Cleaner

This is the next step up, with heat... but it seems to have mediocre reviews.... problems with reliability.
I saw the title of this thread and thought, I know who the author is...looked over and yep...

Jill, when will the madness end?
Hee hee. My mom is still shocked that I'm so crazy for cleaning stuff because I was such a slob as a kid. I think it's because I'm ultimately lazy so I love anything that cuts out effort!
good products MAKE me want to clean!
Hmmm...we just bought a Dyson, but I can't maneuver it so Steve vacuums. This one might be good for me though as it looks really light. I have a hand held dirt devil thing that I use to pick up leaves and stuff regularly. It would be nice not to half to sit on my knees though. Anyone want to buy me a birthday gift?

Instead of us buying a new one I suggest we simply rotate Jill with her battalion of vacuum cleaners. :D Come on over to my house this week Jill! (Bring Cesar too  )

Actually this might be a nice Father's Day gift for my hubby.
Hey Jill , when you get done at Jaci's just get on 131 and follow it to Elk Rapids, you can vacuum for me as well :) If you do a really good job I may even feed you
The sweet potato dog treats?
Ah, yeah, sure
Hey! Unfair! Stop using bribery to be first on the list Holly. :P I want the unpaid help at my house first. :D

I've got homemade peanut butter and banana poochie-cookies at MY house. But you'd better show up quick 'cause they're almost gone. But don't forget the vacuums!
hehehe
Now that I'm in demand, perhaps I'll have to up the ante. Holly vs. Jaclin-- what do you have to offer me?

Either I haven't found a good enough product yet or I am built differently from you Jo--I don't get that urge!
Hmm...sounds like it'd be perfect for those bits of cereal, goldfish crackers, who knows what else the kiddos drag in... type of things. :) I have a birthday coming up next month - may have to get one for myself.
Ive been looking at those, but now that Jill has bought one...and says that it is awesome...looks like Ill have a new addition to my Pantry!!
