Have fun - it's nice to have a day to relax! |
I totally wish I could send everybody away for just a day.
Must have been nice. We went to my Nephew's B-day party today and Hayley would not let me leave her side all day. I finally said...enough and went to use the bathroom after holding it for hours!!. From inside the house I could hear her shrieking. My nieces were trying to keep her entertained. That didn't work When I came back, she was standing away from everyone looking for me in the last place she saw me at crying hysterically. I could not imagine leaving her for a day. She would have a nervous breakdown. When she was younger I left her with my parents one night and my sister on another night. She started this at about 8 months old. I would really love to be able to go into the next room without being followed. I would totally love a day all to myself. I'll keep dreaming |
Get used to it. This last for awhile. In time you'll be able to get her into a play group, that will help. |
Hope you're feeling better. Everyone in our household is sick too. Jason had his first two days off work in over a month on Friday and Saturday, and he was so sick he could hardly sit up without getting dizzy. He had to go back to work today, but he just called and said he wished he had stayed home. He's the only one there today and a lot of the people on base are out of town for the holiday weekend, so hopefully, it'll be a slow day for him.
I seem to be over the worst of it (for now, until I get it again - lol), but the kiddos have it now. I think I managed to sleep from about midnight until maybe 3 am this morning, because the boys were up and down all night crying. Ahh, I hate it when my babies are sick...breaks my heart. |

Brandon is 3 and STILL does it. That child has the worst case of separation anxiety. If I leave the room he's in, he screams. If I leave the house and leave him/them with Daddy, he lays down by the door and cries the entire time I'm gone. I dread it when it's time for him to start kindergarten. It's not going to be fun. Hopefully a lot will change in the next two years! |
