Bones for Puppies?

Yes you can get them directly from the butcher. Usually they will give you the whole rib (meat and bone) The really don't have very much meat on them. I get the Beef Ribs since Peanut is allergic to pork. You could always try the marrow bones. |
| We live in Atlanta and I got Chipper's at Publix... HE LOVES them, keeps him entertained and is good for his teeth, etc.... the only negative - his legs and mouth area get real messy so he gets a bath thereafter!!! |

LOL  Yes, I usually wait until the week that Annie is going for a bath to give her a beef marrow bone. However, her 9th birthday is tomorrow and I want to give her one so she knows it's a special day. |
| I have given Daisy small beef marrow bones since I got her at 3 mos. They keep her occupied and the teeth clean.
The only place I have found since moving is the grocery store that sells 2" cut marrow bones frozen and I generally give her one each night to keep her occupied for a while so I can relax. This is the one treat she really loves and looks forward to. (She won't touch most dog treats). |
