I have had it with ebay, Mission Fish and Giving Works

As soon as the items that are listed sell or don't sell I am through with Mission Fish and Giving Works. It is twice as hard to go through them then to just sell on ebay. Plus they hold the money in a trust for 30days and then deposit in your checking account. That is OK for the BIG GUYS but a little rescue like we are are it is just to hard.. We need that money.... Everything and I mean everything has to just right. They are involved with everything that you do. Mercy I didn't know what I was getting into. Once an item is listed you can't change one thing on it. Shipping , discription, picture nothing.......... Ok, My Rant is Over With........Sheepie Hugs, Kaye

That does sound complicated! It's a shame they aren't a little easier to work with. I don't blame you for stopping it, I would too.
Too much red tape, sounds like quite an ordeal kaye, maybe you are better off just listing items normally on e-bay without misssion fish?

Nothing is made easy when you are trying to do things for a good cause
That's a shame, you put so much work into it. Will you go back to ebay?
I don't understand why they should hold YOUR money for 30 days, that doesn't sound reasonable
It is hard enough to run a small Non Profit Rescue anyway. You have to have some way of funding it. I choose to go the ebay route because I had so much STUFF and other people had donated so much STUFF..... But, with Mission Fish and Giving Works it is a totally different situation. I can understand making a non profit do things differently BUT........... They literally run the store....... So after this batch of items have run their course I will pull out of Mission Fish and just run a regular store. All of My Extra Money goes to rescue anyway. I just to much to do to stay on top of all they want me to do. They have now put up Power Seller????? I'm no Power Seller!!!!!!! Thats for the Big Boys!!!!!! Plus I don't want to wait 30 days for the money....... It is just more then I bargined for. Sheepie Hugs, Kaye
Kaye-
Sorry to hear about your frustrations... you will still do the ebay store without Mission Fish- right?
Good luck! Keep your chin up!!
ALissa, Yes I'll still have a store that will help to fund the rescue But.... They make things so difficult. I understand that there needs to rules But Mercy!!!!!!! IT would probally work better if we were a bigger Org. with more assets. But being a a little independant rescue makes it harder. Oh Well!!!! Live and Learn. Sheepie Hugs, Kaye
The only thing I use is Activa to load my listings Kate and its good
but thats not a store thing just a person thing

God what you have to go through sounds horrific

Its got to be REALLY SIMPLE for me or I get frustrated

Good Luck!!!
