help transport a rescue North Carolina

This is off the OES-L list: (no I didn't ask their permission, shame on me)

"I have an uncovered portion of the transport from the NC/VA border to
Fayetteville. It's about a 2 hour drive, maybe less since the speed limits
are nice and high down there. I have two Richmond transporters, but that
doesn't help. A town called "Emporia, VA" is right on the border (with
several fast food places to meet). Could you post to the OES-List that we
sure could use someone to cover from Emporia, VA to Fayetteville, NC on
Sat, May 27th? It's right down 95. "

Please correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the person transporting the dog must be a member of the NEOESR to be covered by their insurance. If you're interested in helping, contact Betsey (AND join the NEOESR!)

Makes sense, hadn't thought of that. No big deal to join if you want to be involved in rescue. Thanks Nita.
