Thanks for all the good wishes, folks....... Guess what I got for my birthday? First of all, my two boys went together and got me a riding helmet....Yaaahhh!!! And hubby and BIL got me a DYSON!!!!! The Animal....we have already re-vacumned the carpet that we had recently vacumed and it is amazing how much more dirt we got! Then we got out the dog's cushions, vacumed them and WOW!!! I am totallly impressed! We have always bought the ones on sale, and after all the raving on this forum we went to see them last month. Don said there was no way he was spending that much money on a vacumn cleaner. Then he saw an English commercial that said "If you don't have a Dyson, then your house is not clean".  |

Thanks for all the birthday wishes, everyone. It was one of those non-eventful birthdays, so as it was almost over yesterday I was like, it didn't really seem like my birthday 
But it was nice. My husband had his first day off in 2 weeks and we went to dinner to a nice new trendy restaurant downtown, so that was fun. And then yesterday we kind of alternated between being lazy and cleaning the house, and he took me out to dinner again (Indian--YUM!). So, that was it. |

After 30 years of marriage, raising two kids (and a husband, on occasion!  ), keeping up a house and holding down a full-time job, lazy days are what I LIVE for!! I love the week-ends where you can do something in the morning, take a nap after lunch, then do a little more later in the day. Can't wait till retirement so I can do that EVERY day!! |
