 Sixpence,so sorry about your toothache.
Feel better soon!
Sixpence, try some clove oil, it's the active ingredient in many of the OTC
toothache products.
We had to pay $7k (with TWO dental insurances) just for them to schedule work on our sons' teeth. So yeah....I'm not liking dentist too much either! lol The insurance companies either...they take forever sending you checks back.
Everytime I go to my dentist, they call the insurance company, and tell me my co pay will be $XXXXX. I pay it and leave.

Always, and I mean ALWAYS! a month or six weeks later, I get a bill from them telling me I owe another $65 or whatever.

I'm so angry! If they'd tell me that when I write the first check...I wouldn't have a problem, but how can I always owe more $$$.

Needless to say, I haven't been to a dentist in about 1 1/2 years...and really need to go :x
I hear ya Deborah! They do the same thing to me

The only thing, I have another appointment next week to finish the cleaning.
You always hear how people are afraid to go to the dentist because of the pain and it's true.....a pain in the wallet!. I paid $900 for a root canal and $289 for a "surgical extraction  which means the dentist cracked the tooth trying to get it out
Just left our dentist for numerous reasons. His office has become a real
Doc-in-a-box.

Twice I have gone for a cleaning, at the end of the cleaning
the dental hygenist states , Oh-Dr. Fill in the Blank is not here
today, is it ok if you see another dentist?

Funny, even after asking for notification if my dentist is not in,
its not honored. No problem with staff loudly stating how much
you owe today. I'm not a fan of the mystery dentist of the
day plan.

I am now the invisible patient
