Super Dog saver stories

I just read the story of Vero (username) and trying to help a dog who was being hit at the dog park.... it reminded me of another story, My fiances mother actually dognapped a dog that had been abused by his owners. My Fiances sister lived next door to these people who never fed their dog, never let him in and he was out in the coldest winter days..... his name was max and he was a golden... So one day my fiances mother (very proper very brittish lady) went over at night and took Max, he has been with her for over 5 years now and his name is tigger.....

Hi Liz,

I loved your story!! Thanks for sharing it with us.

I sometimes go to a website http://www.animaladvocatessocietyofbc.com

It will break your heart so please be prepared, the site shares incredible rescue stories but also opens up the publics eyes to the dog abuse that exist in the world.
There is one thread that is very heartwarming called "Woman who steal dogs", true stories of little old ladies (all unnamed) whom roam the city in search of chained backyard dogs. They will try to first purchase the dog from the owner and if the answer is negative they will keep tabs on the dog for weeks and then suddenly it dissapears one night.

thanks for sharing this story.

Cheers
Marianne
Thanks a bunch!!! I have watched Animal Planets Animal Cops and Animal cops houston.... its so sad to see what people do to their animals and say "its just a dog/cat/fish" I get all sad if my fish are sick and die..... I couldent ever imagine being to creul to anything or anyone.... I think animals are so much better than most people.... Some people are horrible... I will probably read the posts on that website....... and will be so upset!!!

thanks Huggsmom`s for the thumbs up :) ...I just can`t stand for someone to hurt an inocent ...animal or child....I did that on pure instint...maybe not the smartest but I was well rewarded ...by the way Kuki`s owner is back and he just fired the guy on the spot :) he called me saying that he never knew how Kuki was being treated as every time he called asking about her he was told a simple "oh....she fine" ....seen them a couple of times in the park and she does look a lot better...the owner promised me never to leave Kuki with someone he wasn`t really sure of and if he did have to leave her he will call me to check on her.
he`s even asked me for some hints about behaivior because he is amazed how well behaved Pisco is and want me to teach him how :)
Just another success story of a Sheepie Guardian Angel in action.

Glad to hear that Kuki's owner is on the right track now. I guess he was having a problem like some two legged kids parents have, believing their kids are in good & trustworthy hands and unfortunately they are not. Some parents have had to resort to those hidden video cameras to be sure the kids are ok when they are not there. Some people come across so trusting sometimes and turn out not to be.

He sounds like a very good dad after all.

You were rewarded well. :D
