It's Snowing in May here in Anchorage, Alaska

boy am I not used to this. weird not to have AC on this time of year.

i'm hoping it's God's way of spreading some baby dust in the air. someone on this board is making me want another baby.

i can't wait to hear more baby stories from other people on this board. wonder who the next folks will be. maybe barney, darcy, iriskmj, JakobandBrandonsmom? stacy?

Darcy? Lol.
Ah the tick of the "clock"

I had mine all close together, but I wish I had spaced them out more.

As far as the snow in May goes... LOL .... we get that occasionally too. It was snowing here not even two weeks ago. Today it's sunny, and hot (for us LOL) which is 20 celcius, or about 68 farenheight.

Darcy? Lol.

she may be itchign to buy baby shoes... i don't know. 8)

we won't try again until mr. j gets back from iraq. actually will try when he's on R&R, so we still easily have a year.
lol, maybe... We're not exactly doing anything to stop it right now. :)

Good luck to you guys! :)

Oh...and snow in May??? Yikes. We've had our A/C on for 2-3 months now, lol
We still have snow on the local mountains.
So pretty to look at from a distance. It's been 90 degrees here.
I'll try to send some heat up your way.

Hayley is growing up so fast, almost makes me want to have another baby. I know I couldn't handle it though. I really spaced my kids. Ryan will be 8 yrs old next week. The reason for the big spacing....was
#1 Divorce
#2 Ryan and his problems
#3 I always said I would not have another baby until Ryan was completely out of diapers....which wasn't until he was 6 yrs old. He was potty trained but still had problems at night.
#4 I was sure Ryan would kill a baby if I had one.

I don't know about you, but all these puppies on the forum make me want one so bad. With training, puppies listen and respond to commands.....kids don't!! lol Two Sheepies is enough for us....for now.
there's nothing left to the imagination when you edit the subject title ron. ;) :P
now we want to know what the original subject line was!!

Snow in May. Brings back memories of wondering if the lake would be thawed in time for the Memorial Day regatta......one year it was close. Long time ago and many miles away.

Doesn't it snow year-round in Alaska? Just kidding. Seeing as today it is in the 50s and raining, snow seems entirely possible. Saturday was nice and in the low 80s (83 is my comfort level limit) but yesterday and today are COLD

Oh, and I have no 'itchings' to have a baby at the moment. Still feel too young (although I know I'm not)...but if you need baby stories, all my friends are having them, so I'll just pass their stories off as my own!
Aww darn...thanks all for caring....BUT....no kids in our future....Ill still buy baby shoes for someone if they want though :D
Hayley needs some sandals for the summer
Snow in May? Wow!

Nope, no kids in our future either! My clock never started ticking and I'm 32 this year. I have a laundry list of my own reasons not to have a kid...but not appropriate for this forum :D I've been busy buying baby gifts for my friends' kids. I think I need to throw my own puppy shower for Fozzie toys :D Do you think all of you would come in town for that???
Really Jo? Someone is making you baby crazy huh?

Can I see another Jordan pic please?

You poor thing... I hate late spring snows. Here in MN I just cut lilacs and lily of the valley for vases indoors! I love having my own garden for cut flowers!!! Hoorah for gardens.

I'm sending you warm springy thoughts!!!!

haha - I have a shoe shopping adventure (more like nightmare) for ya with my 3 year old. ;) I HATE HATE HATE shoe shopping after shopping for Brandon. He wears a size 13, triple wide, and he has NO arches on his feet. It's almost impossible to find him shoes that fit right. Even Stride Rite says his feet are too big for them. :(
I occasionally get that urge, but it passes quickly these days. My kids are all almost grown up, independant for the most part, and all it takes to get me to NOT think about babies in a fond way is to hear some kid in a store having a temper tantrum. I do NOT miss those days at all. Midnight feedings? Diapers? Blech! :?
Oh L...btw....its going to be 99 here today.....hot hot hot....space heater is officially off for the season...
Dude... I have boxed ALL my summer clothes up, which is weird because being from TX.. that's ALL I HAD! lol

Snow here in May is NOT normal. The temps are norm. 48-54 around now (so the weatherman said today). Which is what it has been for the most part. ..and it's in the 30s at night. Really for us.. this is HOT after such a cold winter. It won't get much warmer here, but I'm sure it will be super hot to me.

Yes, Irisk, someONE is giving me the itch. :P The real reason I made this thread. I'm just pretending the snow will make this next year of waiting go by fast!
HUH... NO KIDDING... WONDER WHO THAT COULD BE. HMM...
Perhaps we need a quick jolt back to reality... OK, now everyone, just imagine a pic of my tick bite here!
Well i've no plans of having anymore babies 3 is more than enough for me. Even though Niamh is the most contented babie there is ( i didnt even know she was teething until i found 2 teeth a few weeks ago 8O ) and she still sleeps through the night if only they were all like that then i would of had more :D
:twitch: No Ron, pleeaaase, not the tick bite :twitch:

sill below 40 here in the mornings, days over 90 (such is the high desert) good snuggle weather, good thing the stork is a long, distant fear.

You can't just leave well enough alone, now can you, Ron?! :?

Babies NAAAH enjoying the freedom, gran will be nice in the future, NOT TOO SOON THOUGH :twitch: , being as I am only 21!!!! LOL. You can play with them, spoil them rotten, then hand them back  :clappurple:
Does it make you feel like singing Christmas Carols??? :excited:
