This is Charlie. Remember him? I fostered him about two months ago. He's not getting along with the smaller of the family's two other dogs. He is the sweetest guy. I am really debating over this one. He did just fine with my wigglebums. :?
I thought he looked familiar. Poor guy :(
Tammy, you know you want him. And he gets along so well with your other two .....  :plead:
I know....but if I keep him, I will have a really hard time fostering and foster homes are hard to come by. :?
It's also pretty hard to find homes for those senior dogs too!

As horrible as it sounds, Tammy, it wouldn't be like taking on a 10 year committment. You could give him a great home until it's his time to cross the bridge. A guy his age deserves a nice home that he can call his own and live out the rest of his life.
You know, I was thinking that too. Hmmmm
Poor Charlie, how sad for him at his age :( :plead: Tammy, is there any way for you to take him back?
I told Ingrid, the placement director, I'd be patient and see if a good home for him becomes available. But, if not, I would like him back.

Thanks for the encouragement....I think. :D
Lol. All the encouragement is coming from us that have 3 dogs. At least we're not trying to talk you into doing something that we wouldn't do. ;)
Is it encouragement? Or Peer Pressure?

LOL...I noticed that!
Wow! That is really nice of you Tammy! Just curious, how long are you going to watch the topic before getting him? I wish you the best of luck! And of course, if you do decide to get him I would be happy to help anyway I can!

Isn't that the same thing?
Not sure, Allison. I need to wait until Olivia is placed for sure. After that, I'll just play it by ear. :)
I hope we can find a home for Charlie closer to AL so that no one has to make the trip back to NC because we can't afford to lose Tammy as a foster home....

Homes for seniors are hard to find -- look how long Emily had Mopsey and Prissy and we STILL have little Gretchen....

But a good foster home like Tammy's is even harder to find...

Please all help find Charlie a good home so Tammy can still foster....

Marie
Thank you, Marie. That's very kind of you to say. :)
I wish I could get him, but I have so much "drama" going on in my life right now that it just wouldn't be fair. I feel guilty about all of the time that I am spending away from Pud, the hubby tries but it's not the same, I couldn't handle doubling that guilt right now.
Do we know what is going on with this baby now?
