I am in the Boston area. I don't know of an OES club around per se, I guess that's why you're asking for interest to start one. But there's NEOESR, or New England Old English Sheepdog Rescue, Inc. with more than 1000 members around the country, perhaps 2/3 here in New England. At the functions you'll always meet lots of sheepdogs and make lots of friends who have sheepdogs from this area. Maybe that's a good place to start! Their annual picnic is coming up in just about 10 days! http://www.neoesr.org/picnic06.htm While the deadline for registration has passed, I can virtually guarantee that if you email or call you'll be welcomed. Even if you just show up at the gate I'm sure you wouldn't be turned back. 
There will be probably a couple of hundred people and nearly 100 sheepies. |
