A message from the dead?

My MIL died this past Easter Sunday, she and my husband were really close. In the several weeks since she's been gone he keeps wondering why he hasn't recieved any type of "message" from her because their bond was so strong. Well, last night when he got home there was a phone number and the name of the cemetary where she is buried on the caller ID, no message. The call came at 8:30 pm, so this morning he hits redial to see what they want. The man who answers is confused because he is the maintence man and that number only goes to the main office, no other outside line. In addition he says that the shed with the phone was locked by him at 5 pm and unlocked by him at 7 am this morning, he has the only key. Benny then calls the main office and they tell him they lock up at 5 pm and it's not possible for the call to have come from the number he dialed as it's only a direct line to one number, which is theirs. This kind of creeped me out!

Ghosty......she didnt call collect did she???? Freaky....
That is really eery. I usually don't believe in these types of things, but you never know... I'm sorry there was such a great loss in your family. Hugs from us all.
That's kind of eerie...I am very sorry for your families lost..

Maybe she was just calling to let everyone know she got where she was going okay.
I'm so sorry for your family's loss. I hope this sign gives your husband a sense of peace.

That really is eerie though. I wonder what would have happened if you or your husband had been home when the call came in? 8O Wow!
Sorry for your loss.... and wow. A call from a closed and locked cemetary.

brrrrrrrrrrrrrr [That was a shiver running up my spine.]
I truly believe in those things. If we were talking instead of typing, I'd tell you a million stories about my mother/father and sister who have all passed and have "visited" me in many different ways.

I hope the call made your husband smile. I completely believe it was his mom.

Tell him, I'm sorry for his loss, but remind him of the call and that she really is still with him.
Wow, That story gave me the chills. But in a good way.
Sorry about the loss of your MIL.
Sorry for your loss.....

Creepy.
Sorry for your loss.

Boy kinda spooky 8O
Definitely creepy - but a good creepy!

I'm sure it was her, too.
You know, Holly, I can't account for Clyde's whereabouts from 6 to about 9:30 last night. You know what a prankster he is. I guess I'll have to stop leaving the SciFi channel on while we're at work...
Maybe now your husband can have some peace. :) Hopefully that was her way of saying, "Thank you for everything... I'm okay now."
:excited:

Oh my!
Wow. Between that story and watching Ghosthunters the other night, I don't want to stay here by myself this weekend! lol
Gail, I cant watch that ghosthunters.....toooo scary.....especially if B is working....but I find myself addicted to that stupid show, then cant fall asleep.....
