Snow-cap in need

We live in Ohio and recently took in a deaf 3-month old male OES puppy named Teddy. He is currently in thehospital with bad intestinal problems.

The vet has given us an estimate in the neighborhood of $1500 to surgically remove whatever bad things he has eaten and will not agree to a payment plan. With about $400 in bills to date we are unable to come up with this additional money and our fear is that he cannot survive without it.

We are desperatley searching for options and any suggestions are welcome.

Contact your local OES Rescue. They may be able to provide the care he needs.
Do you have a Vetrinary School in your area? If so, contact them- sometimes they will do pro-bono work, or work on a discounted rate plan. Good luck! Please keep us posted on Teddy's progress!!!
Is there another vet in your area that you know? Perhaps you could take Teddy to a different vet who would accept payments.
I'm so sorry to hear this. I hope one of the suggestions mentioned can assist you.
The poor guy :( Most vets will work with you on a payment plan, so I would call around to find one.
What part of Ohio do you live in? Have you ever heard of Care Credit? It's a credit card specifically designed for your pet's needs. They offered me an application for it at my vet. If you search it on the web, you will find the home page and can apply online.
I would find another vet, asap, there has to be some that will do a payment arrangement with you.
Good luck :)
what happened?
The vet received a positive test result for parvo so Teddy is still at the hospital getting treatments. As of last evening he was improving slightly but still not able to eat. Thanks for everyone's support and I will keep you posted.
Good luck to Teddy, all paws crossed for a speedy recovery.
AND your family...
Your pup is in our prayers - keep us posted
GREAT NEWS!

Teddy is eating solid food this afternoon and was actually playful at the Vet! We arent 100% sure if he is coming home today but this was very encouraging.

Teddy is home and he looks 1000% better! He's still on antibiotics but he's eating very well and no more vomiting.
