Reposting Site and Roll Call for Michigan Picnic

Let's try this again!

Let's plan to have the picnic at the Lyon Oaks Bark Park, July 29 at noon.

Here's the link that should tell you everything you need to know about the park. http://www.oakgov.com/parksrec/activities/bark_pk.html

It's $10 to get in but we can meet up before the gate or there's a $1 coupon on the Web site. I still have to come up with a list of needs, which isn't too much. I can't remember if I had put any other inof in the original post so somebody remind me if they think of something!

Sounds good to me! I'd also like to remind everyone we need an actual head count for humans and dogs, so please include that info in your reply.
Nicole and Don- Bosley and maybe Dixie.

A meeting time of 12:00PM was suggested, but would it be possible tomake it 1:00 PM or later? We have about a 4 hours drive, and will need time for potty breaks, border crossing and getting lost  (Hubby's idea)

If Willowsprite comes she has an addlition 3 hours to drive before getting to my place.
Sure Nicole, do you want to say 2:00 just to let you guys relax a bit more? It's not a big deal since nothing was written in stone yet anyway.

and getting lost

The Jill's and I certainly understand that
Jil, Holly and I are already making plans. I think this is going to be a lot of fun! We'll have party favors, prizes, agility equipment set up plus food! However, if you could, since the previous posts were erased with my head count (I should've saved a copy), could you please check in again with the number of people and dogs that you'll have?

Thanks!
Jill
Oh, yes. We also need to know what dogs cannot have normal treats. I know we will all be wanting to feed the pooches, but some of them will need to have a sign "Don't feed me"....

Maybe a certain colored bandana or something?
For the dogs we are planning on a roast beef party sub with american cheese and tomatoes. Treats will include dried sweet potatoes (if I can still find them) and liver biscotti. If wheat is an issue just let me know as I have a variety of flours including soy, garbanzo and another that I currently can't recall. If there are any other special food needs please let me know since I have recipes for almost anything.
Oh, geez....Seeing as you asked.....no GRAINS, no BEEF, no DIARY...for my little Dixie-cup.

Fish, rice and veggies. That's all she's getting these days. Might change by July, hopefully, as we start to re-introduce some stuff... :plead:

All kidding aside, we'll bring her stuff down, but I was thinking there may be other dogs that need special stuff, and we should be able to recognize them somehow....

Bosley will eat ANYTHING, so he can have her share :D
Bentley LOVES carrots, so we'll have plenty of those on hand!

Humans - 1
Sheepie - 1

Well, I love a challenge so I'll see what I can come up with, we can't leave Dixie out!
Dixie needs a stir-fry!
 With salmon!

Hey! We may not be able to partake of all the food, but we are definitely getting into practice for the agility part of the day!!

That looks like some serious competition :D We better get practicing!
Yikes! I'd better take some vacation days to practice!

I just have a cheesy beginners agility setup, so don't expect anything spectacular.
Hi Jill,

You can count me and Beau in. Let me know what I can bring and if I can help in anyway.

Thanks,

Karen and Beau
Hey Jill, don't forget to add Cindy, Norb and 2 sheepies to your list.
Put me down as a question mark. It all depends on the Wonder Pony. If he's still confined to quarters, I won't be able to come. :(
How is Bob doing Paula?
Holly, there is a post titled "Update on Bob the Wonder Pony" from earlier this week. Don't want to hijack this thread.
Holly, don't be embarassed. It's o.k. There, there. :pats her on the back:
Hey everyone, just bumping this up in case we have more people interested. Did I mention that we're having party favors, as if you needed a reason to come hang out. Check in if you haven't already!
