New fear-does she have bone cancer?

Simone, the little one in the avatar has been limping off her left shoulder. Last night my husband wondered, does she have bone cancer? We lost Sam to that awful disease a year ago and it just makes my stomach lurch to think our little MO might now have it. It would crush my husband. MO is his dog. I hate calling the vet and setting up an appointment.............

HUGS!!!!

I hope it is just something like arthritis, not bone cancer... I'm sending positive thoughts your way!
CALL THE VET!! (((((HUGS))))
Knowing is better than not knowing. Call the vet! (((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))!!
Big hugs to your family and MO.

Please call the vet and know we are thinking of you
and send prayers your way.

We love you MO! :hearts: :hearts:
Oh no! Is this the same dog that stabbed herself the other day? I can't find where you posted before to check.

It may not be as bad as all that. Chris is right-- knowing is better than sitting around wondering. I hope everything's ok.
Yes, same dog. Her stab wound is not just a every shrinking scab. She did not tolerate the antibiotics well, spent her days eating grass and urping.

She's been limping on and off for a month or two. She is extremely active, running, jumping, etc so assuming it's an injury that won't heal. I've called vet. Friday at 1:40 for xrays.

Something about year 7...................if you can get thru it..............

Looked at the birthday chart last night, Paige our incredible Pyr is 11, not 10! She's the last one we have an actual dob for......the others are all guesses.
Maybe it's just a strained muscle or pulled tendon making her limp. I do hope it's nothing serious. :(
OH....I hope it's just a strained muscle. Our thoughts are with you. Keep us informed.

I hope it isn't that serious! Please call the vet asap. Happy thoughts are being sent your way!
Susan, please don't delay calling the vet, the sooner you know the sooner you can have a plan in place. I'm sending positive thoughts your way that it turns out to be something minor.
Poor baby, I hope too that it is just an arthritic problem also.

Do go to the vet, I know it's scary but best to know what is really going on.

Thinking of you all and sending postive thoughts your way.
Maybe Simone sees the way Paul and I limp around with arthritis and assumes that's the way one should walk,?? 8) 8)

She's happy as a clam right now as she got to play in the sprinklers, running to each head biting the water and chewing on the heads  She finds the hardest water spray and stands there letting the water beat against her ribs.......she needs a soap bar, bathing cap and brush to complete the picture.
I'm glad she had a fun night. Given her age and level of activity, a strain seems like a reasonable guess. I hope the Vet gives good news on Friday. :)
Hi SheepieBoss,

I'll be holding my breath waiting for you to get back to us with the results of Simone's vet visit. Praying for good news. Hugs to you all and special belly rub for your beautiful girl.

Oh Marianne,  "beautiful" isn't the word for her this time of year. Take one short haired tiny sheepie (she's 62 lbs), add one irrigation ditch with running water, dirt, and a crazed dog who thinks there's something under the water or in the mud that must be destroyed. Result in one MUDDOG. Thankfully she can wash off in the sprinklers before dropping all the dried dirt indoors. But not after trying to dry herself by rubbing along the shrubs.
Hope everything is okay!
