A different kind of shower ......

I needed to drop off a urine sample from Dixie on the way to work this morning.

I took my shower, got dressed, and call Dixie into the kitchen area. We get a LOOOOOOng leash for Dixie, pick up the sterile container with my hand in a rubber glove and out we go.

She wants to play, of cource, and I ignore her jumping around and dancing. Then she finally gets busy sniffing and finds the right spot. She sqats, and I sneak up behind her. SUCCESS. A full bottle.

She finishes up and I spot a metal dinky car in the grass that did not look safe to have in the yard. So I made the BIG mistake of bending over to pick it up.

RULE NUMBER ONE: Do not bend over in front of a playful sheepdog when you have an open vial of fresh urine.

Dixie took this as a tremendous invite to play and jumped on me, knocking me over. I held the vial tight and saved enough, I hope, for the tests, but the rest went flying in my freshly washed hair, in my right ear, all over hubby's jacket that I was wearing......

She sure is lucky that she is so dang cute...........

May not have been funny at that moment, but it sure was funny to read!!!
I have learned not to be taking a sip of coffee when reading antics. It's a good thing or my moniter would have gotten a shower too.
EEewwww....Yuk!

I know it wasn't too fun for you, but gosh it's funny to read!
So, I guess you got extra clean in that second shower this morning.

Oh my, that really is funny. Yuckie, but funny. Congratualtions on getting the sample though. It isn't as easy as it sounds.

I hope you don't have to get a poop sample someday! Remember, cover quickly.
LOL

Dudster said it right..we sheepie owners can actually visualize it while reading the story..we all know it could have just happened easily to us!

So funny!!

Ewwww 8O ! Luckily you saved some and didn't have to start all over again. And, like others, I can see this all too easily...
